Being in love.

What’s more special than being in love? Being loved by someone, is the best thing that can happen to you, even if the bestest of things is happening to you right now. Life is actually very easy when you think about. It gives you choices, and you choose where you want to be and when. Whether you like a person or not, whether you fall for them or not, or whether you fight for them or not, its all a choice. You choose what happens. I’m a person who had fallen in love thrice, failed to be with one who was in love with me head over heels, two of them left me because I cared too much, probably life’s way of getting back at me for what happened earlier. But my point here is, I still long for love. I miss those late night calls that goes on till next morning, random catching up whenever you feel like, exchanging life goals, and almost everything. Yes, I love being in love. I still do. :)

Good at everything.

Before you read any further, I’ll tell you the conclusion. You can’t be good at everything. That’s what I realised today. You can be good at only one thing, and when you take that one thing out of your life, you become nothing. Be it a sport, music, dance, writing, anything, you’d be doing something that noone can imitate, or even come close. Even when so many people try to break you, that one thing makes you. Believe you’re special, cuz you’re unique, and when you’re unique you got to be special. :)

My kind of guys

I’m this kind of guy who loves to be in love, hangs out with friends all the time but still squeeze in time for the girl I love, for all those who say all guys are shitheads, no there are exceptions and my kind of guys exist. The problem with us, is we fall into love too soon, like really soon, that once we fall into it we never realise what is happening. We kinda get real deep into it and crib about it in the end, because we never, never fall in love with our sort. Opposites attract, maybe. But this is what happens, all the time. So what happens later, is we decide to not fall in love, or atleast not anytime in the near future. I’ve been single for the past three years, I’ve dated a couple of girls in between, but never really got deep into it, and it saddens me in all ways. Bad relationships ruin good people, yes.

Hi. Are you good? Have you moved on? Do you still miss me?

So many questions right at the start, huh? ;)

They say its just a pin prick. But wait. If its that small, why does it hurt so much? 

Do you remember the day we met? And those good old days when everything was absolutely magical that we were so sure of being forever together? Oh yes, I do stick on to those memories, cuz at least they don't change.

It might be that easy for you to leave and move on. But it isn't for me. There were so many girls out there, but you were special. You'll remain to be. Seems like I wasn't special enough for you. More precisely, not cool enough when compared to others huh?

I may not be good at writing, but this is more like a vent out. This is way better than calling you and eating the same shit when I know you wouldn't attend.  I still miss you, love. Some things will never change and the love I have for you is one among them. Wish you never left. :')

P.s.: Our birthday's almost there. Don't worry I'll not call and disturb you. But I know you'll think of me. :)

Oh yes it does. My heart, whenever I see your pictures, or hear your name somewhere. Really bad that you have a name that's common. Funny that you can't hear my name anywhere cuz mine's not.

Accidentally one of your friends' update came on my news feed, and there was this group picture. One second my heart goes "Wait, is it her?" It literally skipped a beat. But then, it wasn't you. I don't know about you but I still miss you. Every day, every minute, every second. There hasn't been a minute when I haven't thought about you. Why did you have to leave me?

The Minute She Decided.

It was all a choice. Whether to stay or to leave. It was all because there was a choice. And one of the choices were much easier than the other - to leave.

There was this time when I called her 17 times straight, she never picked. Another time I called 21 times and she never bothered to pick. There was this one time, when I called her more than 10 times, the calls went on wait, and she kept cutting my calls. It was astonishing for me when I realized the phone was in her hand the whole time. She just didn't want to pick. It was all because she decided. I remember, she had never called me, at all, from the minute she decided to leave me. An interesting thing happened yesterday. I called her a couple of times, she never picked (as usual). I sent her a text telling "Whats worse than this man? I call because I miss you. I don't want to fight." It was 3 AM in the morning. I knew she would be sleeping. And surprisingly, she had called early in the morning, when I was sleeping. Seems like her heart took over her ego for a couple of minutes. Then I called her back, she decided not to pick. As usual.

Technology and its impact on relationships.

We all know technology has grown so much, that even a mother and son are having conversations on whatsapp, when they are in one same place. Mobile phones have changed the way people communicate. I live in India, one of those few countries which goes nuts for tech devices. Here, we don't drive a car! It drives by itself, cuz we'll be checking Facebook on our smartphones. Mobile network companies have started giving out special 3G plans like "Pay Rs.20 and get 3G for 2 hours". Sounds interesting, right?

Relationships today, are really funny. Problems become status messages, feelings become tweets and opinions become display pictures. More than anything, breakups happen through phone calls! Can you believe it? I always wonder where the world is heading? I mean, we were so much better without all these things! I seriously wish we all go back to square one, where we met people and had happy conversations with them. Hope someday we get rid of all this fake stuff.
