Yeah I got the news same as everyone else, it's all ending, that's it, after the 27th of December, no more SMG4.
I cannot say I'm shocked, keeping up a series like this for over 14 can't be easy, and I respect Luke and everyone else's decisions to decide to end the series. As sad as I am over this news, I am so happy that SMG4 is ending on the creators own accord, rather than having the series run into the ground and lose all it's passion. In a way, this feels right, this feels like the right time to have SMG4 be put to rest, and I will be there right up until it's very end.
I got into SMG4 back in 2014 during its old machinema days, I was like 16 and deep in my mario fixation when I found SMG4. Since then it's just been a serious that I've come back to over and over again, and while it was only "recently" that I decided to get into the fandom, it has and always will hold a special place in my heart.
This series has done so much for me, it's built up my creativity, my love and passion for art, my love for character interaction and designs, and this series is like a creative goldmine for me. It's the perfect amount of fun and imaginative ideas, mixed with funny jokes and memes that I love.
Not only that, but I've been able to meet so many amazing and creative people, I cannot express enough how much everyone I interact with in this community means to me. The many friends and acquaintances I've made along the way are all people I carry with me, I am the happiest I've ever been with where I'm at now, and I only have SMG4 to thank. This series has gotten me to where I am now and I will forever be grateful for that.
So... what am I going to do?
I am going NOWHERE, I will not stop loving or creative for SMG4 just because it's over, this series means too much for me to say goodbye to it once it's finished. I will be sticking around for as long as I can, I will keep creating, and I will keep loving this series and all the things it has done for me and my friends over the years.
None of my work or characters are going anywhere, I will keep loving my work for this series for as long as it takes. The friends and connections I've made along the way are also not going anywhere either, we can all say we were here for so many historic events for SMG4 and we'll be here until the series airs it's final episode.
No matter what happens, no matter how sad and upset we all are over this news, we all have to keep looking forwards to the future and loving the time we have left with this series. I will be here for whatever Luke has in store for SMG4, as well as whatever he has planned for the future.
