In 1985, the Ford Motor Company began sales of the very first Ford Taurus vehicle, which with its round edges, flush headlights, and covered grille was a striking look at the time. Even nearly 35 years later, the design still looks and feels contemporary. Name a car that has had a greater impact on auto design — I'm not sure if there is.

It’s impossible to say as of yet, but with Governor Pritzker pushing the sale of the coveted state-owned Loop location, it’s looking more and more likely that the postmodern marvel may only have a short time left.
