He came home a few times to help where he could and with what he could so, it meant the world to me! Let's show our trucker force they are appreciated and loved!!

Thanksgiving

This thanksgiving we went around the table saying what we are thankful for. I should feel ashamed of myself; here’s why. I didn’t say a word of how I’m thankful for you, in the hopes of not crying at the dinner table. It was selfish and stupid to think that way since I know everyone else misses you too. I also didn’t thank all the other truckers for working instead of being at home, as I’m sure most, if not all, of you want to do. Mom and I both cried since it was your first Thanksgiving that you were not home. It will be hard today as well, since it is actually Thanksgiving Day. As people enjoy today with their families, you my darling, along with many other people and professions, are working to provide for the families whom you are thankful for. We all miss you at the table and the day to spend together. I am in love with you! Thank you for being the amazing man you are. It’s like Neecie said, “It’s just another day. There really is nothing special since we can do this everyday of the week. It’s about sharing the love we have.”
