Oh completely forgot to tell you BUT my computer works!

I went to the store and they tried to charge it and it worked! They then told le that I needed to use a specific base to be sure it works because I learnt that 62% for a battery is bad- like my battery should have been between 100 and 80% of its "integrity", under that it's defective so...mine is dying. I can't use my computer withouth charging it often BUT for now it works and that's all I wanted

I started FFIX almost a week ago.

I

Love it.

It's sooo good! I'm almost 10h in (I must confess, an hour was probably lost because I fell alseep in the car while playing (I managed to pause the game before sleeping)). The story is for now insanely good, the characters are amazing (for now Steiner either makes me mad or impressed). Vivi is an absolute must protect from everything (and I LOVE how everyone just agrees that Vivi IS to be protected and how they just adopted him so easily it's so precious).

Dagga is good too! I am used now in the franchise to see women willing to do things and not just waiting for everything to happen which is great honestly, they have such amazing female characters.

Freyja wow, I love her design she is so cooool! Really well done, but I don't know her enough yet to go deeper than that.

The cutscenes are stunning, the artwork is beautiful, the musics never disappoint.

I do have one problem though.

The battles. Oh gosh I don't like it at all. The system is similar to FFVIII and FFVII with the ATB but, and perhaps it's because in the version I have of FFVII and FFVIII I can speed up time, it takes an eternity to fill. I also don't understand why they take so long to attack once I selected their action. Maybe it's because I only have the digital version but it can be troublesome when the ennemy hits my characters twice while the characters still haven't moved.

You see, I told my mother that if I could switch FFX and FFIX gameplays, then FFIX would be perfect in my eyes.

Oh also, I didn't understand a thing to the card game- at least when I played the Triple Triad in FFVIII I it was only because I didn't get what the number meant on the cards-

I'll give it a try at some point, we'll see.

Stupid night thoughts but I just realized Sanji is the only Strawhat with biological siblings-

Like, Luffy has Ace and Sabo, Nami has Nojiko and Franky has Iceburg but the only one with an horrible relationship with his siblings is Sanji.

I think it reinforces how blood has nothing to do with relationships and that one's true family can be anywhere they feel loved.

I love that idea.

I started FFX (remastered) a while ago and...I'll be honest, I'm having a hard time having fun on it-

BEFORE YOU COME AT ME LET ME EXPLAIN

First of all, I have two problems with it.

The first one are the saves. My god, why am I unable to save for almost an hour because there aren't any save around?? And it's not the system that I'm having a problem with, far from it (after all I also played FFVII and FFVIII), it's how scarce they are. To give you an example, I had to close the game because we were going to watch something but I couldn't because there weren't any saves AND the monsters kept on showing up. I'm unable to just play an hour and leave because of that-

The second one...is the voices. Mind you, I don't hate them all, not at all. I really like Tidus' voice, Auron's is really good too! They fit very well. But...Yuna's...I'm sorry, really. It sounds so...lifeless and forced at times. That plus the fact that the characters barely express any emotions on their faces (AND I DON'T BLAME THEM OKAY, the game came out in 2001 and I'm aware of how insane it must have been back then but I'm playing the remastered so I'm kinda surprised they don't show more) does not help me to get attached to the characters. It does not mean I don't respect the work behind it, alright? It just doesn't work with me.

However, there are good points too. I like the gameplay a lot, being able to switch characters in the middle of the battle is genius honestly (Final Fantasy keep on surprising me with the gameplays haha). The sphere grid makes me want to grind so bad to complete it all because I love how it works.

Learning the Al Bhed throughout the game is also super cool, finding books everywhere and unlocking more and more of the language is fun.

Overall, the story is good. Sometimes I don't understand the narrative choices they made because they switch immediately to something else. (Spoilers)

I am just a bit further Seymour's marriage proposal.

I want you to know that I was ready to fight him if he even dared to force Yuna into it okay. I may not be very attached to her but I won't agree to see her accept that deal JUST BECAUSE. (Please no spoils, I haven't given Seymour my answer so I don't know how he reacts)

Day one I didn't like him, he was too... present. I could feel that he hid something.

Also, the story does feel a bit too linear at some points. Not that it is a bad thing, but it can be a bit hard to find other things to do (and I talk to as many npc as I can). I'm a bit curious about how Sin is Jecht and I'm even more curious about why Auron smells like ...I can't recall the English name sorry, but like the place where people go when they die. Also how Tidus seems to be almost a 1000 years in the future.

It's not a bad story, far from it. I will keep on playing to learn more and perhaps finally have more fun. I know it's many people's favourite and it's for a reason so I want to experience it correctly.

(Small addition but I don't like Lulu. I can't stand how she kept on comparing Wakka to his dead brother, as if he wasn't also touched by his death. I know she was in love with Chappu but it's not a reason to keep on saying "you will never be like him". He knows that. It's not a reason to keep on reminding him AND imply that he is not good enough. I do hope she will change that but if not....well... I won't like her at all.)

Me when I heard the first seconds of the Witch Hat Atelier's opening and telling my mother: oh Eve is singing it.

Also me few seconds later, remembering I saw his post on Instagram some times ago ABOUT the opening: of course...I should have known...

Overall, the anime is beautiful, I am sooo excited to see it and how it will be. Everything is so pretty, I love how they used panels from the manga at some moments and how every part feels like an illustration.

I finished my castle on Heartopia (after three tries...but I did it hahahah). It took me not too long I have to say. The hardest part was to create the two look out towers with the roof, the stairs, the walls and the doors.

It's also...very empty. I need more furniture honestly and more trees, bushes, etc.

HOWEVER I am sooo proud of myself. In a sea of gigantic villas, I created a medieval castle (at least tried)

Meet my OC 2 hahahah

First you met Akai, my OC, persona and everything at once.

Now, you're going to meet...

Toruki!

He is one of my main OCs (I have too many...) and the protagonist of his own story!

He is 21 years old, half French and half Japanese (yeaaah....) and was technically born in the Middle Ages-

Yes I know it doesn'r really make sense BUT I created him before learning more about the Middle Ages and well, I didn't change his name.

Toruki, whose entire name is Toruki Louis Matsuri (might change is second name one day) has light brown hair and golden eyes. He got hurt by some kids who bullied him because he is mute and they didn't like it-

He is really kind. He loves helping others and he is very selfless. His friends care a lot about him. He is also brave, like, I wouldn't be able to do half of what he is doing in the story haha. Toruki is also reserved and a bit insecure, as he is extremely aware of how he is perceived by others and how in his time it is hard to communicate. He has a good brain and he is able to think things through.

He shows a lot of empathy for his friends and the others and he feels deeply.

I have to say, Toruki is one of my comfort OC. I love him so much and I know I should definitely focus more on his story (but the reseaaarch...) but him and another are both OCs I feel strongly connected to (not for the same reasons...). I just want to hold Toruki and give him soooo much love as he deserves it so much.

I'll tell you more about his story. It takes place in an imaginary 15th century France (I'll try to be as accurate as possible (which I should be because my thesis literally is about the 15th century....at least the plague-)) and Toruki was sentenced to death because he went against the law and hunt somewhere he souldn't have (he also was accused of corrupting people). So the entire story is about him, his friends and their fight for freedom, for their liberty.

I should work on it, I really should but what you need to know is that I love the found family trope so it's a LOT about found family-

I don't know what to tell you more, there's so much to say. I hope you liked it!

Himmel's love is probably the purest love I've ever witnessed in manga. That man loved her with no conditions and no selfishness. What mattered was not even that Frieren would love him back at some point or that she would ever realize that he did love her so much. What mattered was that he wished she would learn more about life and people in general so that she is never alone.

And she is learning. She is finally realizing how precious life is and how important it is to care about those you love.

All because a man she travelled with for ten years decided to love her just like that.
