Hey guys, the Akatsuki no Yona Big Bang Moderators here! So we understand that this is pretty late, and most of you in school have just started or will be starting soon. However, we saw the interest in the 2016 AkaYona Big Bang and we’re thinking about starting another one! Now, last year the final product was posted around November/December. This coming one may start around November and be presented around the spring season, possibly April, with the theme “Springtime”. Please let us know, or reblog, if you would be interested in either participating, or seeing, another Big Bang! Also, feel free to message us through tumblr if you have any questions or comments!

Update: Hey guys, so we decided that if this post gets over 50 notes by the end of the month, we’ll start the Spring Akatsuki no Yona Big Bang 2017. If not, we’ll just postpone it until next year, for a 2018 Big Bang. Thank you so much for continuing to support us!

Update #2: Hi guys! So in the end, the post did not get over 50 notes, and we will be resuming the next big bang in 2018. Thank you to those of you who are still sticking around! This blog won’t be very active until then, but feel free to keep sending in suggestions, comments, questions, etc.

As for people still in school with concerns about schoolwork/exams/etc:

We definitely understand the difficult balance between writing/creating/editing and schoolwork, so we aren’t forcing anyone to do anything. There will be deadlines, the “check-ins” for those who participated last year. However, exceptions can be made with prior notice, and your creations can be included in your portfolio afterwards, something that will show credibility to future colleges and/or employers. Let us know if you’re interested!!

It’s at @akayonabigbang, but that blog has gone kinda quiet. They mentioned they were looking for another admin and I briefly considered it before deciding it would be a bad idea on my part, and I’m not sure they ever found anyone. But last year signups started up in mid-June (I remember nervously worrying that I’d miss signups on account of a newborn baby).
