friday: most self-indulgent fic you have ever posted?
The entirety of the alien larp au--scifi au for akatsuki no yona which is more like...a crossover between a scifi au and canon. It’s got some characters as aliens and AIs interacting with other characters’ canon selves, in the canon setting. It’s tropey space opera + fantasy and I had so much fun with it.
seconds: shortest completed fic?
Hmm I have a lot of ficlets in the 300-word range, it’s probably one of the ones in my “prompts and drabbles” collection, but I don’t have the time to go through there and figure out exactly which one is the shortest.

In theory that is correct, but it’s not just the stake going through the heart that is problem for vampires because a stake going through the heart will kill anyone. What you need is to make sure the vampire stays dead, and the way you do that is through the magical property of the wood.
Rowan for instance, is a strong protection tree and has strong ties to magic and medicine, and was often used for making tools against the supernatural. In Scotland it was actually reserved specifically for ritual use only because the tree was considered so special.
Taking that thought process into account, the woods themselves must have some sort of magical resonance, which would make vampires really uncomfortable to be around. At least I think that’s where my thought process was going with that when I wrote that.
Plus just like, I feel like they might have a psychological aversion to anything wooden being inserted into their bodies. Unless they’re into that. Which I mean, I’m not judging, I’m just sayin.

"Shion, are you in here?" Nezumi asked when he opened the door to their house.
"Yeah, sorry I was caught up in my story" Shion replied walking out of their room with a book.
Nezumi smiled softly. "I managed to get chocolate, I know you wanted to make hot chocolate for a while, you up for that now?"
"Ofcourse, especially with this weather." Shion smiled as he remembered seeing snow fall earlier. "You know I can't make hot chocolate right." Nezumi replied "So that might be a job for you." Shion smiled gently, taking the groceries from Nezumi putting them away, before he started on their drink. They shared some time talking over small stories, when it seemed that they were done.
They sat at the kitchen table, sharing more cocoa playing a card game.
Shion pipped up. "Is there still snow?"
Nezumi nodded "I know you probably want to trow snowballs, but i have a different idea."
Shion smiled gently.
Nezumi continued "There is a small lake nearby, its completely frozen, what do you say, wanna iceskate?"
Shion's eyes lit up at that and he nodded.
They got up and went to the lake, on their way they saw Dogkeeper pass by who laughed at them. Nezumi was a natural on the ice, while Shion emediatly fell, right into Nezumi's arms. Ofcourse their friend saw it and laughed at the duo.
The rest of their evening they skated on the ice, and trew some snowballs at each other, and Dogkeeper, who ended up joining them for a bit.
After a while they said goodbye to their friend and went home where they tried baking, which ended in a flour fight, and some rats getting spooked.
They ended their winter evening curled up under a blanket with more hot choclate. Overall it was a success.
ok but will the cute fanfic moments in the fluffy version of your book be in the sexy version as well or am i gonna have to buy two copies
There is cute fluffy fanfic moments in the sexy version too, the fluffy version just has more because they don’t get screeds of my praise/boot/voice/hand kink to read through :P
