this year I really want to be different. I want a different mindset and I want to overcome my own problems. the first "scandal" I saw in 2018 was the one about baekhyun and the fan suffering from depression. this has bothered me since I first heard about it. I'm tired of grown people acting disrespectful to idols simply because they aren't their favorite, or they think their favs are better. the moment with baekhyun and that fan was special. that fan opened her heart to one of her favorite people in this world, a person she genuinely cares about and trusts. and look what the media did. look what some mistranslations did to take such a sweet and heartfelt moment and use it against a sweet, gentle, loving man such as baekhyun. baekhyun has done nothing but express his love and compassion for his friends and his fans. I hope that that fan doesn't think this is her fault. I hope she can still feel comfortable with herself and her mental illness. wherever you are fan, baekhyun loves and cares about you deeply. as for baekhyun, I hope that he still feels comfortable enough to open up to us. he has always been so friendly towards us and I really don't want that to change. I care for him so much I would change the world for him.
