I'm incredibly sorry! I didn't mean to bring bad personal things up and I apologize, I'm relatively new in the fandom so I'm was just being nosy(Found and followed your blog during your hiatus). I do hope you decide to get back into the swing of things if you're feeling up to doing so! There are still lots of fun, open minds around!

Please don't worry about it! You didn't know, and I appreciate your curiosity nonetheless.

Now that I'm here I'm thinking it'll be better if I just remake the blog and start afresh. You're welcome to join me when I do! It's always nice to meet new people.

What scares you about the fandom now?

Haha nope. Not saying it. Talking about drama is like saying Bloody Mary three times, it'll just bring it right on back.

Let's just say that there was a row between users before Christmas that coincided with a family member's death, aka the worst week of my life, without hyperbole. To say that it made me nervous to come back to an already volatile fandom is an understatement.

Extended Hiatus

So I'm not going to sugar-coat it: I am sick to death of this fandom. I was barely involved in the drama of the last couple of weeks, but frankly just watching was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. I am sick to death of the attacks, the ship wars, the penalizing for even daring to think differently from the group, and do not even get me started on the fucking TV show. I'm sick. Of. It.

I love Regis, I love the Witcher series, and most of you are completely innocent of all the above, but the toxicity in this tiny fandom means I can't even look at my blog right now without anxiety. Add to that all the awful shit that has been going on in my life and I do not want to deal with it.

So this is my hiatus of indeterminate length. Maybe I'll come back one day? I don't know, it depends on how I heal from the shit sandwich that has been the last few months. But for now, Regis is on hold. If any of you would like my Discord, or a link to the RP blog I've retreated to, feel free to message me. But for a month, a year, however long it takes, I'm out.

Semi-Hiatus (tw: death)

Hi all. You might have noticed that I've been a little absent lately. Unfortunately that has been due to a mix of mental health issues and concern for my stepdad, who has been fighting terminal cancer. Today I am sad to say that he lost that fight.

I'm going to be on leave from work to help take care of my mother and help her make arrangements, which means that I'm for sure not going to be around much in the next few weeks. I may pop up now and again, but I'll probably not be in the mood to talk, or start anything writing-wise apart from a low-stress few. So please excuse me in this time. See you in the aftermath, everybody.
