Reading into online affairs and filling in "gaps" with your own interpretation will only wear down your experience online.
Interacting with people online isn't always easy, and there will be times where you notice "gaps". It could be a change in communication, it could be a change in speed, it could be a change in presence and said changes will often make you think; "what could this be". In many scenarios, you might also try to explain it yourself and in a lot of times those explanations will come back to you in negative way or in a general narrative that causes your thoughts to overwork themselves.
Therefore it's important to allow your brain to unclench, and acknowledge that most of the time it's not even about you. Life gets hectic, there are different priorities to be made and people are just people.
Don't take it out on others
A PSA addressing behavior that's often excused due to mental health.
We all have our issues, our bad days and bad periods, we have our problems and our frustrations, but despite all these thorns in our sides, it's never, ever okay to take it out on someone through passive aggressive behavior, name calling or any other rude approaches.
In these situations one has to address themselves, step back and breathe, find something to stimulate that part of yourself that's not doing well. Get some fresh air by opening a window to breathe, get a glass of water, lie on the floor for a hot minute and just relax. take a break, and ask someone if they can help you.
If you don't have someone you want to rely on or you're someone that doesn't want to bother anyone, write it down. Get it out somehow. but don't ever, ever think that it's okay to take it out on someone else, because it's not.

how do i deal with a rp partner/longtime friend getting possessive and jealous over me shipping with others?
Boundaries.
There's no way around it, no matter how you look at the problem in question. You need to set boundaries for yourself and state the expectation that both of you are allowed to write, ship and develop with other individuals. They do not own your blog, your portrayal or your time, even if they are a long standing friend.
If they are quite open about their possessive / jealous approach to you, then be upfront with them. If they are being vague about it, or falling into the pattern of being guilt trippy in vague ways, try to stick to the boundaries. Explain to them that you don't find it okay the way they are reacting to you writing with others, and establish that no one belongs to anyone. You write with whoever you want, and so do they.
It might be a little difficult to set these boundaries in the long run, but I believe you'll be able to do it; while I do understand that there might be some conflicting feelings in regards to me writing and developing with other role players, I would like to make it clear that both of us are allowed to do so. Writing and developing with others do not mean I think lesser of our dynamics, I merely enjoy writing with a lot of individuals. You can phrase it however you like, but, stick to your boundaries and principles. It's a hard pill to swallow and an equally hard pill to offer.

Every so often another mun who followed me first will, bafflingly, write my VERY CLEARLY NONHUMAN MUSE a starter or meme response in which they respond as though they are human. I have my about page in the pinned post, I have a post begging people to read the basic muse information, and still, potential rp partners somehow get the idea, by not reading literally anything on my blog for the slightest iota of a moment, that my muse is human. How do I get this to stop happening??? 😭
Communicate.
There might be an uncertainty as to whether one can/should assume that your character's supernatural/paranormal traits are to be acknowledged/noticed by those around them. A lot of authors may consider assuming that such traits/nature being perceived as meta-gaming from the person who responds.
Approach the role play partner in question, talk to them and communicate your concerns/thoughts about the replies you actively receive. As productive as writing posts might be, always considering one to one communication on top of it. Never skip out on a simple message.

role play is mean to to be fun, and the second it starts affecting you or your health negatively it's a sign that you need to realign your priorities. ❤️
Why aggressiveness in the RPC is not the way to attraction positive interactions, a small public service announcement.
There are several things in the RPC that tends to get to us as role players, whether it's an event in the series/movie/game/etc. or the way people portray characters differently, and while everyone is entitled to their opinion aggressiveness is not the way to go.
"Fuck fanon"
"Fuck them for fucking writing them like this"
"Fuck the authors for fucking doing this to my fucking character"
"Fuck you, fuck everyone, fuck this, fuck that"
"I don't care what people think, fuck them"
"Fuck them for not answering me"
"Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck"
To be surrounded with such negative language, day in and day out, does something to people's mentality and it will potentially make people more reluctant to interact with you. Everyone are free to express their opinions, naturally, but pay a thought to how you come off to people around you. If you actively display an aggressive behavior, people are less likely to approach you and it might also start affecting you, how you feel and how you think. There's nothing wrong in disagreeing with a take, a comment, a portrayal etc. because differences are important, but think about the energy you're putting into the RPC.
There is no need to be aggressive, you are in charge of your own dashboard. If something makes you aggressive, part with it. If someone makes you aggressive, step away from them. Tend to your dashboard and cater it as you need.
