Project: Maria
Maria is healed by Shadow’s blood, but the major symptom is that she herself is turned into a mobian and she possesses all of Shadow’s abilities including immunity to other illness, immortality, and doom powers

Black N Blue
Shadow’s had enough of the suffering the world has to go through. He takes it upon himself to find all the chaos emeralds and absorb their power to “fix the world”, and yet finds a power-hungry god willing to “help” him
The receptors of the B Lymphocytes is an antibody associated to the plasma membrane. The BCR can recognize any type of structure, in contrast to the TCR, chemically modified macromolecules. It can recognize linear epitopes like conformationals in 3D. Every B Lymphocyte clones contain a BCR that is unique to it and recognizes its own epitopes-
Ring-ding-ding-ding-dingeringeding! Gering-ding-ding-ding-dingeringeding! Gering-ding-ding-ding-dingeringeding! *Tails looks like he's about to throw a wrench at Sonic's head. Shadow looks absolutely smitten and amused.*
SHUT THE FUCK UP!
*Shadow is trying to stifle his laughter.* As you can see there are two types of responses.
The confession didn't go like it does in the movies...
To most other couples in the world, Valentine's Day was about celebrating their relationships in different ways. And while the particular 'love' word had been seen plenty of times on advertisements, gifts in stores, played in songs on the radio, and tossed around in every way possible, neither Sonic or Shadow had used it to describe whatever relationship they currently had. They'd been together for a year now, and were of course enjoying that sort of company. But Mari asking if they loved each other was bringing on an odd reaction in both hedgehogs.
Sonic was trying his best to keep smiling, but it was becoming more difficult each second to maintain an actually happy expression when nervousness was starting to take over every single thought. Shadow looked like he was about ready to catch fire with how fast his muzzle and ears turned red. There was a moment where neither of them could speak, and only stared at Mari while they tried to slow down all the thoughts in their minds to actually speak.
"W-Well uh… I mean- We… I-" Sonic tried his best to at least say something in response to Mari's question. It was a simple one after all, it should be a simple answer, right? He glanced over to Shadow, hoping he could provide some kind of help. Shadow didn't say a single word, and only stared at Sonic for a second before looking away from him. Well, that was no help at all! How the heck was he supposed to explain this to Mari if Shadow wasn't going to talk!? Sonic decided to give this another try…
"Um, we just-… What I mean is, Shadow and me, we're… We've been together for a year, so uh, yeah I mean, we like each other a lot!" Sonic tried his best to keep a smile going for Mari's sake, but a quick glance over to Shadow told him something else was clearly going on. Shadow's ears were pinned back, quills bristled, face completely red as he refused to look in Sonic's direction. Seeing him act this way made Sonic remember how he acted when in Silver's body that one day, when they talked about friendships.
Oh…
"Shadow…?"
Sonic's voice made Shadow jump and glance over. He blinked a few times, still completely silent. What could he even say to all of this? He couldn't lie, but he couldn't speak what was on his mind right now out loud. Fear and anxiety were keeping his mouth shut tight. Sonic wouldn't take any of this seriously!
"What you said, about us not being friends anymore…"
No…
"I mean, if that's not what you think…"
Don't…
"Then what is this going on?"
Shadow drew a sharp breath, still staring at Sonic with wide eyes. He absolutely couldn't lie, not with Mari right here and Sonic watching him so expectantly. He needed to answer.
"We- We are partners." Shadow spoke slowly, taking as much care as he could to chose his words wisely. "And I-… I care for you. The same way any other partner should. I trust you with all of me."
Sonic raised an eyebrow, giving Shadow a side glance. He saw where this was going, and that unbearably annoying urge to run was starting to kick in. But he stayed rooted to the spot, wanting to know what Shadow had to say. "So, what does that mean?"
There was a moment where Shadow needed to think, but it looked like he was going to be sick from anxiety. Shadow knew he couldn't sit on this forever, something would need to be said eventually… He finally took a deep breath and let it out slowly, then nodded. "I do love you, Sonic."
Well this was certainly far from the first time anyone ever said they loved Sonic and meant it. Amy probably said it once or twice when they were kids. And he had a few instances of strangers proclaiming love after being saved. Anytime this happened, he was either too young to process that sort of thing, or simply ran from the situation.
This time was different. This was coming from someone he did like very much. Someone Sonic definitely thought of as an important person in his life. But hearing Shadow actually say that… For some reason, it made him feel scared. Sonic couldn't remember the last time he felt an emotion like that. It made his quills stiffen and his heart beat faster, but he was frozen in place, and all he could do was stare.
Mari watched the struggle between both hedgehogs and looked up at Sonic with a smile on her face, tail wagging happily. "What about you? You love dad too right?"
Sonic heard Mari's question, and glanced down to look at her. Normally, he'd just tell Mari whatever it was she wanted to hear. She was a kid, a very young one at that. At this point in her life, he wanted things to be as positive as possible, that way she could be happy! Right now though, with a question like that, he actually wasn't sure he could provide what she wanted to hear. Did he like Shadow? Of course he did. But did he love Shadow the same way?
"Um… 'L-Love' is a big word…" Sonic let out a noise somewhere between a chuckle and a wheeze. "I'm just- uh, I'm flattered, I really am!" He could already tell he was fumbling this reaction badly, but finding the right words to say was getting increasingly difficult as his mind struggled to keep itself on track. Shadow's slowly lowering ears were definitely not helping either. "Ah- Shadow don't- I really like you! I'm just…" He trailed off as he lost his train of thought, now completely unsure of what to say.
Shadow wasn't sure how else to feel other than disappointment. He looked down and sighed, then shook his head. "It is alright if you do not feel the same way. It will not change anything."
Sonic frowned, then reached over to tilt Shadow's face back up. "Hey, don't take this as some kind of rejection. I like you. I just… I don't think I'm ready for the other word yet. But I want things to keep moving, because I like what's going on right now." He tilted his head slightly with a crooked smile on his face as he watched Shadow seem to perk back up. "Don't hold me to it, but just give me some time to think more on it, alright?"
Shadow could accept that. He was more patient than Sonic after all. "I can accept that." He nodded and reached out to hold Sonic's hand. At least now he felt better getting this feeling spoken out loud, rather than keeping it to himself. "… May I say it to you more often?"
Sonic nodded. "Heh, yeah you can. Guess I can't be calling you a 'faker' anymore since you're actually talking about your feelings."
Shadow chuckled and shook his head. "You will still call me other nicknames no matter how many times I tell you to stop."
