âWeâve been out here for hours.â
@akirananaseâWeâve been out here for hours.â
âThe meteor shower was to supposed to start already,â Haru told her. He had wanted to Akira out to see it, but it was already an hour after the supposed start time, and there were only normal stars in the sky. He could already sense her impatience before she had spoken up, but what could he do? It wasnât his fault that nothing was happening. âMaybe Rei said the time wrong.â He was the one who had told Haru about the meteor shower after all.
Haru smiled slightly, happy to see how Akiraâs expression had lit up after his response. He was also admittedly excited to get to teach her something he loved to do.
Haru leaned back in his chair after heâd finished eating and nodded in agreement. The food here had really been great. With both of them finished eating, he called over one of the waiters and paid for their meals then led his daughter out of the restaurant. âDid you want to go somewhere else?â he asked, looking to her. This time the offer was only partially because he wanted to spoil her while another part of him just wanted to put off talking about his fight with Rin for as long as possible, and he knew it would be brought up again as soon as they were back home.
Akira followed Haru out of the restaurant and looked at him when he asked if she wanted to go anywhere else. She paused and thought for a moment. It was a bit late, but she wasnât ready to home just yet. Plus she was sure that Haru didnât want to talk just yet. âDo you want to go to the arcade?â She wasnât a big fan of them, but the crane games were always fun. Plus she could get a stuffie out of it.
Haru gave a small smile at the suggestion before nodding. âAh. The arcade sounds good.â He gently took ahold of Akiraâs hand and led her to the nearest one. Luckily, it would still be opened for the next few hours, and with how late it was, there werenât many other people there so they wouldnât have to fight others to play the games they wanted. âWhat do you want to try first?â
Akira smiled when Haru held her hand and they walked off. It wasn't often that they spend much time together currently with her trying to become a idol and all. She had to to fight with the school most time to just get off for his birthday to spend time with him. Becoming an idol was important to her, but Haru would always be number 1 in her life. Once they arrived, Akira spotted a crane machine with cute bunny stuffies. "Papa! That one!" She point to the machine and looked at Haru with sparking eye as if she was a little kid again.
