Ooo! Thanks for the question @theseerofobsidiandawn ! I haven't re-watched Otgw in a looong time but when it came out I was absolutely ENAMORED. Its aesthetic and themes are everything I'm a sucker for, can't say it hasn't made an impact on my art since then! I'm glad the artwork reminded you of it, one of my favorite shows of all time ;v;

Let's just pretend I didn't disappear for the past month and just look at these new spellbook wooden charms I made recently 8D The embossed effects came out...so fking cool lol!

They'll all come with a bronze clasp at the hook unless you choose not to include it, and there will be the option to have them as magnets or pins! Anyway here's my CoS bardlock Crowley as a modern day rockstar bc i physically could not stop myself. Frontman and guitarist of our rock band (that we haven't decided a name on), he's an introvert everywhere else but an absolute BEAST on stage. Doesn't exist much on social media but when he does post that 7-second Short of him playing a riff it gets like 20mil views

Your Crowley art and lore is so interesting! It's the kind of gothic art/writing I really appreciate. It is a blend of the macabre with the artistic that creates a unique atmosphere surrounding him. The one with the ghost (skeletons? skeleton-ghost) apparitions has such a strong pull to it. Please continue making this kind of gothic artwork for as long as you want to make it, there will always be people who enjoy it.

(The dancing skeleton bards artwork is my most favorite work of him, I'm so glad you like it!) Gosh, your comment made me revisit my whole reason for creating him--I have such an intense love for the gothic and macabre and I guess Crowley is a homage to some of my horror inspirations growing up. I'm glad you enjoy it!! Thank you for taking the time to write something so sweet! <3

I would love some more Crowley lore if there was any you wanted to share!

oh my gosh!! i'm always floored whenever someone wants to hear me talk about my characters ;v; (i also completely forgot tumblr had an inbox system and missed so many i'm so sorry everyone) Crowley started out as a simple D&D character idea years ago: a gloomy little corpse groom! But since then he's become so much more (i'm a little obsessed maybe 8'D). Crowley was exposed to music at a very young age and it turns out he was something of a prodigy! Now a sensationalized young soloist, part due to his exceptional talent, aaaand part due to the mystery surrounding his gruesome and cruel murder on the day of his arranged wedding. But it's all good--he's...back? Quite unwillingly. However his new warlock patron who took all that effort to bring him back to life would not take no for an answer (red flag number one). So he's stuck being the servant of a formidable eldritch horror until his expiration date, but he also sees the good in it--he's able to make music again--even BETTER music, music that can surpass and transcend mortal planes to touch the divine. Which is ultimately a goal both he and his patron share. Their relationship is...complicated to say the least, hahaa.

Crowley deals with a lot of anxiety, depression and self-doubt. While he will undoubtedly become one of the greatest musicians of his time, he wonders if he would have achieved this if he hadn't experienced and survived the trauma that had left irreversible impact on his psyche. Was the suffering worth it? Necessary even? For his music, how far will he push himself? This is just a small snippet of my entire dissertation of this character whom I love so much, LOL.
