Why is that one of the only things people are saying about him? His appearance isn't relevant at all🫩 Especially since his only canon appearance before the movie was literally just 8-bit pixels, and he was a rotting corpse for most of the lore.

Also movie!Michael is so pretty what are you guys on about that is FREDDY CARTER ffs but that ISN'T RELEVANT!

I love his characterisation in the movie, Michael Afton is supposed to be an unsettling weirdo and I love him for that. And yeah him being evil did throw me off a little but I've warmed up to the concept and I love it. It makes sense too since obviously the bite of '83 never happened since CC doesn't exist in movie lore. And even though Vanessa is described as William's "favourite", Michael is the one to continue his legacy, AND Michael quotes William saying he and Vanessa are William's property. Movie!Michael is so much more complex than just "evil".
