At first, I was thinking either tengu or angels for the Samatoki(?) team, but now I look at it again, I see a braided cord on the left side of the leftmost silhouette, which could be either but makes me lean more towards tengu (in the style of HypDream event Kuko).

You mentioned Jiro having “son of god” imagery— what’s that about?

it’s by proxy of a few things you tend to only ascribe to ichiro since the leaders usually get the most focus lol. primarily tho, it’s in rei declaring himself god that makes his three sons, not just ichiro, sons of god

bb as a whole have a lot of holy imagery attached to them (more than one christmas drops, christmas team colours, three kings being in reference to the wise kings frequently mentioned in the birth of christ to name a few off the top of my head) but some jiro specific stuff are:

michelangelo: jiro says he’s michelangelo in drb, a renaissance artist known for a lot of paintings, many of which depicted christian/catholic tales

second coming of christ: one of said paintings is the last judgement, which depicts the second coming of christ. this is a bit of an abstract take lmao, but with ichiro being the main metaphor for the son of god, jiro in his initial desire to be like ichiro to even his current desire to stand on equal ground with ichiro has jiro mimicking a lot of ichiro’s actions and mirroring his struggles. you could interpret that as a second coming of christ

the holy trinity: the holy trinity consists of the father, the son and the holy spirit. basically put, the trinity stands for the father who creates, the son who was created and the holy spirit created in us all from them. so continuing from above!!! from jiro copying and inheriting a lot of ichiro’s actions and issues, ichiro (the father) has created his mirror image and jiro was created (the son) in ichiro’s image
