Just everyone else in this world, I want to go Heaven too! So I ask myself "How do you go to Heaven" or "Am I certain I am going to Heaven?"
Do I need to go to Church more ⛪ ? Do I need to do more good things 😇 Do I need to be baptized 💦
To assist me with all these questions I found 3 Scriptures that I find helpful with my questions and I hope it helps you too!
because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart othat God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. 11 For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”
The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost.
No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven—the Son of Man (Jesus Christ).
So my ticket 🎫 is by confessing and believing that Jesus died for me because he loves me! Sounds easy right? Although some of us having a hard time loving someone that you can't see and that's understanding, but when that question occurs remember this:
Walk by Faith not by sight.
Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
Blessed are those who haven't seen yet believe.
Even though we cannot see him he still praises us for blind faith! So cool! ✨
So in conclusion, going the church (just to say "I go to church" but learn nothing), doing good, blasting Christian music, wearing cross accessories etc... are not your key to Heaven, It is Jesus Christ who way.
And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
