Here’s a sketch of a logo that I’d love to see for a team in the new Women’s Professional Baseball League slated to begin play in 2026. It features a Black female pilot flying a P-51 Mustang in the regimental livery.

Data visualization painting of the great Patti Smith, comparing her career with those of Pete Seeger, Bob Dylan, Allen Ginsberg, Sam Shepherd, and Robert Mapplethorpe.

The portrait is drawn from her self portrait in “Book Of Days” and the stars are a reference to “Birdland”. Over the years, her music and writing have meant more and more to me.
