ENG: Ugh i’m so done today. Found this on Pinterest where a photoshoot from a Ukrainian photograph, using Ukrainian models, in Ukraine with Ukrainian traditional clothing was stated to be russian. This is blatant disrespect and cultural appropriation and I don’t want to stay silent. The original author of this photo is Anna Senik and she has many other beautiful photos capturing ukrainian garments and not only. These are not the only picture which was stolen by this account and she has many more pictures from ukrainian museums and projects which are labeled as russian. The worst part is that my friend who used to post about Luhansk region on Pinterest decided to close her account because these pictures were stolen from there.
Foreigners greatly underestimate how much money a Russian artist brings to the Russian economy and the genocide of Ukrainians. You won't like this, my "peaceful" foreign friends, but the only damn way to stop the war is to deprive the Russians of all money.

Stand With Ukraine
Art by @khrestor. Don't forget to support Ukraine. This matters now more than ever.
I don't remember as much of the village that i spend most of my summers in as a child as i wish i did, but i remember the fish and river otters and fields of sunflowers, the long way down the hills to a small shop where we would get icecream, the towering cows and the smell of old wooden walls of the house. I haven't thought about the dead fish in that lake for a long time, 13 years since maidan and 4 past the full invasion they are in my thoughts again. If i was superstitious i would think it was a sign for what was to come, instead i just think it is sad that everyone dies
if you have funds to spare please consider donating to organizations like Nova Ukraine, Razom Ukraine and all and any other nonprofits in assistance to the Ukranian people you would like to support
