[ and as i put all my other blogs on hiatus, i think it’s finally time to put this one to rest. akuta is now on indefinite hiatus until further notice. my muse for him has been low for a while, and as i’m starting university on sunday, it’s becoming pretty unlikely that i’ll find the time to rekindle him any time soon. it’s not impossible, but assume that this is permanent until i say otherwise.

with this said, thank you all for rping with me! akuta was honestly a really fun and refreshing muse to play, as he’s so unlike my usual muses, and the 1bh fandom is beyond sweet. i honestly wish you all the best, yeah? if you wanna keep in touch, while all my blogs are currently on hiatus, i’ll be over on my main two blogs—hibiya and chihiro—and occasionally my much less active pmmm oc. and my skype is always open if you ask for it! even if it was quite a short time, i’d love to get to know you guys. my time here was seriously lovely.

and with that, i think i’ve said all i had to, so i’ll be taking my leave. don’t forget to take care of yourselves! and thank you for everything. it really was lovely. ]

Blue orbs follow his movements, a curious glint appearing in them as her thoughts wander to his reaction and what caused him to act that way. She could ask him, as she couldn’t quite figure it out herself, but it would be pushing him, right? Making him uncomfortable is the last thing she’d do. He was in a difficult situation already; she didn’t need to make it worse.

She blinks, her smile fading and slightly parted, o shaped lips taking its place at his inquiry. He had? She doesn’t quite remember it, but it’s only natural—these things tend to slip her. She gives him a small, sheepish smile as her hand wanders to the back of her head, gently scratching it. “Sorry, I don’t really remember…” She feels bad for it, really, but the fact that he doesn’t seem to be troubled by it helps her relax a bit. She gives him another smile, a chuckle escaping her lips. “You’re right, I did. I tend to forget these things, I’m sorry… But thank you, again. I promise to not forget these stories you wrote me.”

How carefree. Watching her, she truly does look without a care in the world—though, by now, knowing what else made him begin to write these tales, he knows she mustn’t be. A brief glance is given to the bed opposite, with a small, unsaid thought: you have to live. Far more than he himself did... that boy had to live, if he was all that was keeping her here.

“It’s fine... I never said it so directly before.” In the end, no matter how many times she praised him, he supposes she would never see him as her most important person—though that was likely fortunate on her part. Perhaps her own position in his heart said more about his own solitude than it did about her, anyway. Looking down, this time at his notebook, he gives a small nod. “Thank you...” Truly, it was enough for her to speak with him, and remember him, even if his entire existence was nothing more than a shrinking shadow of a body in a gloomy hospital bed. “In those stories... were you looking for something?”

“508274-32719310384-31075398…” he murmured the string of code to himself as he carefully inscribed it on his arm in red magic marker. It was a minor bug fix, but he didn’t want to forget it, as it would make using BitPhones a little easier for some people. He continued writing as he strode across the lobby of 307 Tower, abruptly stopping when his foot collided with someone lying on the floor. “I’m sorry! I didn’t hurt you did I?”

Funnily enough, this wasn’t a regular occurrence—it’s unexpected enough for him to make a noise, softly, “Ouch.” The sound on its own was enough of an answer, yet... “A little.” He’ll speak the truth as it is regardless, of course. “It’s nothing significant, though...” Pain was irrelevant, comforting or at least expected by now—this man’s scribbling seems more interesting, only because he is constantly writing himself. “...What are you doing?”

...loud girl:

Sagara only puffed her cheeks even more in anger. This guy was getting on is nerves! “No ‘if’! I have it! And you’re still alive only because you’re just so stupid, you made me pity you and so I deactivated my power, you know!”  

She placed her fists on her hips and looked away, still puffing her cheeks even more in irritation. She then glanced back at the other guy. “And what’s with you, anyways? I bet the Organization brainwashed you and made you be all gloomy doomy and suicidal… Curse them!” She then clenched her fist that was shaking in anger as she looked up with an angered expression.

“...I see.” It’s all he says to such a declaration, believing none of it, but finding arguing it to be too tiring. What an energetic girl... though, he can at least understand preferring fiction to reality, making him say a little more. “...Thank you.”

With that said, even for his understanding of escapism in all its shades, this particular form seemed to be getting more elaborate by the second. “The Organisation...? I’ve never encountered such a group...” He looks at her, perplexed by her stance, which suddenly seemed as if she were preparing to advance into battle, one Akuta was certain was non-existent. “I only... feel it is the right time. There isn’t a catch to it...”

        a small nod of the head is given to the male at the gesture,                             her lips slightly parted in an o shape, the act showing                             her curiosity. ‘ hovering… ’ she repeats, an attempt                             to memorize the word. her curiosity grew at the                             last statement, a bit of worry coming with it. ‘ why…                             why do you not eat? ’ she was sure not eating was                             bad for the health…

He watches her blankly (patiently, too) as she tries to understand, before blinking just as empty of expression at her question, despite how personal the answer was to be. There is little hesitation before he says, plainly, “It would be unpleasant if I lived too long...” It was a simple answer, but he is somewhat conscious that he is talking to a child, despite his honesty. “...That’s just me, though.”

“Then go be tired somewhere else.” Izuchi sighed, lamenting the state of the beach. It seemed as if every commoner in Sweet Beach was intent on interrupting his concentration today. He already had a difficult enough time driving the other fools away, and was not feeling particularly gracious towards this one. Why was he settled in the sand in the first place? It was unsanitary; bacteria would probably seep into his wounds and bleach his already pale complexion. It was always a wonder whether or not commoners truly used their brains of if they were merely for decorum. “…You look ill. Leave immediately and do not infect me with whatever sickness you possess.”

That, he thinks, at least for someone of his frailty... was easier said than done. “The tower is far away, though...,” he says absently, expression unchanging, body unmoving. Though this stranger’s way of speaking was somewhat overwrought (it was more at home in a high fantasy novel, or, more accurately, a badly written RPG adaptation), it wasn’t as if the obvious insult in his tone of voice even bothered him, when he himself did not matter. The only thing left to correct, then, was his inaccurate conclusion. “It’s not... contagious. I don’t get sick often anymore... you don’t have to worry.” He blinks, slowly. Wasn’t this young man a little too agitated? “Is something upsetting you...?”

 His words go unheard as she hops up to her feet. Peering through the small slits in her bag, she can take small notes on the damage to the wall. Did she do that? Oh no, that simply won’t do! Having no money, there is a 0% chance she would be able to pay for the wires she tore apart in her escape or the general damage to the structure.

 “ Akuta Kamome! It is. Nice to meet you! Aira is Aira Tachibana! She is fine. ” The android’s words come with a rather ridiculous amount of energy put into them. Regarding his words this time, she glances back at the wall before she returns to him. “ How does Aira. Fix this? She doesn’t want people. to be angry with her! ”

He stares blankly up at her, himself unmoved from the floor. Getting up that quickly after doing that much damage seems implausible, so much so that he is beginning to wonder if this girl is human at all, or if this scene is closer to one of fiction. “Yes, it’s quite unusual that you’re fine. Even if it’s fortunate...” Even her voice remained unshaken. Wasn’t she alarmed at all?

...Well, with a voice as unchanging as his, he can’t talk. Still, as he looks back at the wall, he can’t lie about this. “I don’t think you can fix that, unless you’re a builder... or an electrician... of some sort.” Frankly, from her appearance, that seemed unlikely. “This kind of damage shouldn’t be possible, anyway... you’re like a character in a fantasy novel... or science fiction.”

Her smile didn’t change at his response—it only grew wider, if anything, never losing its warmth. Her hands wander back to her lap, resting upon her legs as she kept her gaze on the boy. Sometimes she’d find herself thinking about him and what crossed his mind, though she’d never put those thoughts into words. She’d feel bad in all honesty. It would be as if she was intruding in his private life, which she didn’t feel important enough to know of.

Another moment was taken to look at the male before words escape her throat once again. “Ah, you really think so? I find them great, though.” She was being honest here—even if these stories weren’t the best ( it was natural; the male wasn’t an experienced writter ), she always found herself captivated by them. Perhaps it was because they were purposely written for her that she held them close to her heart. At the boy’s response, she finds herself running out of topics. Though, there is something in her mind; it has been there for some time now. “Hey… Akuta? Why did you start writting these stories? I mean—I like them! I’m just… curious, that’s all.”

She smiles... far too brightly. He has to look to one side, glancing down at hospital bedsheets as if they can compare (or, more accurately, because they cannot). Her opinion of those stories shouldn’t matter to him so much—after all, she was hardly a professional, or even a hobbyist with words—and yet... of course, it does. For the same reason why he finds that last question horribly embarrassing to answer, it mattered far too much.

Without looking back to her, he answers with a quiet voice. “I've said it already, haven’t I...?” Perhaps not that directly, yet... as if he would outline it any further without prompting. Still staring at the sheets, tone of voice unchanging, he mumbles, “You told me you liked stories, so I wrote some.” And as nice as it would be to lie and pretend he had held some inner inspiration for years, a stroke of genius waiting to be unveiled, Akuta is not a liar. Of course, he was far more used to voicing brutally honest miseries than this, but, no matter how strange... there was only her. He blinks. “There’s no... deeper meaning, or anything.”

Hearing footsteps does not mean he will look up and address them—on the contrary, as they were never for him (and if they were, they were rarely good), he tended not to react to them at all. Today’s set was no exception, as he continues scribbling with no regard for them, propped up against the cool tile... though their pause makes him pause, perhaps one sign that he is changing.

Glancing up, he finds it is who he expected. “...Nanashi.” What a... persistent boy. With a blink, he looks back down. He has a sentence or two to finish.
