Was just out in the local shopping centre chatting with my brother about Obey Me! and found a meme where I said “this is so Levi” and my brother started “could also be-“ *realises there’s a stranger right next to us* “…the blonde one…”

We need to come up with a less demonic sounding name for Satan because it’s hard discussing him without sounding CRAZY-

I accept all pairings except romantic ones with Luke (He’s a baby leave him alone) and also I refuse to draw demoncest. (They are brothers leave them alone).

i keep staring at ur eye drawings bc they are so pretty! Like first of all, ur art is stunning. I'm obsessed with how you color and the expression each set of eyes manages to convey the personality and emotions of each character so well. And your ability to avoid same face syndrome is astounding!!! Genuinely an art style I look up to. With that said, I specifically like Lucifers and Satan's eye designs. Something about the fact Lucifer has his white eye/scar on the same side Satan has his different is really appealing to me. From like the relationship the two have, and the mitosis weirdness that made Satan come to be, the similarity in a subtle way make me really happy! Also ALSO love simeons and mephs eyes. The like smoky glowy effect is super interesting. Plus Solomons eyes being rainbow!!!! Considering the magic he's been exposed to, it's awesome.

Apologies if this is a weird message lol. I just really love ur art. I haven't done any human drawings since like, elementary school and I'm almost to college, but I recently started learning basic human features and I decided to start with eyes purely because I couldn't get ur wonderful art out of my head. So I hope you know how lovely ur art is!!!!!

OM! Eye HC’s part 3 ft; the (tragically) undatable!

Raphael:

I wanted Raphael to appear stern and war torn. I imagine whilst he used to be a healer (just one with a hobby of combat), post celestial war he’s been forced into the role of a guard or soldier. Though I certainly imagine he prefers healing others over combat. I wanted him to look slightly tired. I personally HC Raphael can’t sleep naturally, he was intended to be a guardian so he’s inherently restless and forced to constantly watch, especially since he’s a Virtue of Diligence. So instead, when the brothers were in the Celestial Realm, Belphagor would use his magic to put Raphael to sleep and give him a break, which is how he developed his bond with the twins. However since Belphie fell, Raphael is now entirely sleepless, as such his eyes look more unfocused and almost glazed over due to exhaustion.

Mephistopheles:

Okay so, Mephisto is one of my favs so I have a lot to say about him. First the basics, I wanted him to come across posh and snobby, so I made it so he doesn’t meet the viewers gaze. I imagine he only makes eye contact and gives his full focus to those he deems worthy (Like Dia and Barb). Now as for the coloured Sclera and glowing eyes. I imagine Mephie isn’t actually of the Devildom, but rather the “Crossroads” the land in between the three realms. (Not to be confused with Thirteen who comes from OUTSIDE the three realms). Mephisto being from this twisted in-between land his demon form is actually a shapeshifting green mist. Much like the devil, Mephistopheles (the actual demon not in OM!) is described as looking almost entirely human save for few fatal flaws in his disguise. I imagine for Mephisto it’s the same, him struggling to maintain a full human form, due to this having a malformed ankle and limp and when he’s not trying to trick humans he allows his eyes to drop the disguise as to lessen the magic toll on his stamina.

Thirteen:

Note I use She/They Pronouns for Thirteen so keep that in mind. I imagine Thirteen is sort of a reptile human. Due to this they can see in the dark, can keep their eyes open underwater without issue, and has great heat sensing capabilities. (I also imagine she has a slit tongue and sharp teeth but that isn’t eye related so-). I picture she has very big eyes with long wispy lashes. I imagine they could easily win a staring comp against anyone (save for Levi and Barb). Also I picture her with a lot of piercings and tattoos, I just imagine she loves decorating her skin and body, being obsessed with body mods of all varieties. Currently her only facial tattoo is a small heart under her eye but she LONGS to get more.

Diavolo:

I debated for a long time whether I wanted Dia to have slit or round pupils. I like to take biblical inspiration for a lot of my HC’s but Dia is simply the concept of the devil, rather then being an actual demon from mythology. In the end I decided to make him look very human, save for his eyes. The devil is described as deceptive and handsome, yet something is always noticeably off. Thus I decided to make his eyes the “off” part of him.

Barbatos:

For Barbatos I took inspiration from amphibians and Reptiles. Wanting him to appear slightly uncanny. I imagine him to be much like Levi and be unblinking. However unlike Levi this isn’t because he can’t, but because he chooses not to. I also gave him red eyeshadow to mimic traditional Japanese makeup. As he always prefers the more traditional look. (Also if it looks bad it’s because I was having a bad art day for Barb)

Solomon:

Solomon is simple. Just a regular human guy. I gave him some beauty marks and made him look a tad bit older. I also gave him a rainbow ring in his otherwise black eyes, as his colour is the rainbow.

Simeon (my wife):

Simeon I wanted to be beautiful yet haunting. I imagine him to be visually impaired only able to see shapes and lights. But I also imagine he’s prone to visions of the past, present and future. These visions are sporadic, and can be mundane or important. He has no control over these visions or when they occur.

Luke (my son):

Apologies if this one looks weird, I’m not used to drawing kids 10 and under. Like I wanted to keep simple, I imagine he has a little star at the centre of his eyes that glows brighter when he’s excited. I also wanted him to have freckles and a cute Band-Aid on his nose, after all, he canonically collects them, and I imagine him to be slightly clumsy.

Obey Me! Brothers Eyes ft; My HCs. More info on My HCs listed below!!

Lucifer:

Lucifer I wanted to look the most Mature and Handsome. I gave him slit eye pupils and ocular scarring on one eye. I imagine he got his cross shaped scar in the war, it being a mark of a curse his Father laid upon him. Because of this curse, which I imagine to be mortality, I made him look slightly sickly, with translucent skin and pallor. I imagine he’s only got a few thousand more years left to live.

Mammon:

Mammon I gave golden freckles and one golden eye. I imagine he got this eye colour from an attempted spell to try and make his eyes turn golden in hue. However because he failed his spell classes, I imagine this failed, giving him heterochromia and 50/50 heterochromia in one eye. Lucifer scolded him for his reckless behaviours. Also I HC him as Aboriginal Australian, has nothing to do with his eyes specifically but I wanted an excuse to say that lol.

Leviathan:

I Imagine Leviathan has the least humanoid Demon form (it being a massive aquatic reptile) as such he struggles to maintain a convincing human form. This shows through with his eyes, them being dark and unblinking. I imagine instead of traditional blinking he has a nicitating membrane that covers his eyes from dirt and debris. He does however require eye drops to moisten his eyes when he’s away from water. I also imagine some of his scale pattern is still visible in his human form, Showing mainly around his eyes, neck, back legs and arms.

Satan:

Satan is the most humanoid of the demon brothers. Having light freckles, regular rounded pupils, and a more youthful appearance then his other brothers. The only sign something is different is the sigil in his eye, a sign of a spell he performed to grant himself more power.

Asmodeus:

(Note I HC Asmo uses any pronouns so I may use she or they when talking about him) Asmo was difficult as I picture her as a shapeshifter, them changing their body suit the trends. However I decided his most common form has rounded feminine features, long spiky lashes, and few demonic features that he deans cute (black sclera, slit pupils, pointed ears and sharp fangs etc). I imagine they wear light makeup, just enough to accentuate her features.

Beelzebub:

Beel has mostly humanoid features, save for his eyes. Instead of having a pupil and iris, he has one large multi compound pupil. Meaning instead of seeing one large image he sees thousands of tiny images, like a fly. Because of this I imagine he’s short sighted, and colour blind. However he is amazing at noticing form movement. Again much like a fly. Also my friend HCs him as a light skin black man so I do as well :).

Belphagor:

Belphie I wanted to make slightly more intimidating. I wanted to make him look gaunt and sickly, experiencing pallor, and with his eyes more deep-set. I also imagine his eyes have a spiral in them, one that if you stare into to long you can’t help but sleep. Also again, same friend HCs him as black so I do as well lol. Shout out to my boy Kris.

The Rest of the Casts eyes are coming soon. But for now we have the brothers!! Lemme know your HCs and who knows maybe I might take them on board lol.
