Ok, I just watched the trailer and it was really beautiful, congratulations <3 But should I be worried about the fact that you said that in the video is the end of the fic and it comes out to Yuuri being pierced by an arrow and also a tomb a few seconds later? I love the angust and the scenes where the secondary characters are worried about the possible death of a main character, in this case Yuuri. (1/2)
No!! I would never do that!! I'll actually never write a fic with that sort of death without including it in the warnings, I'm not a sadist.
Lots of shots in the trailer were pretty symbolic. Yuuri being shot with an arrow (a red arrow) symbolized how he was captured and his freedom was taken by the merchant. But also, some of his freedom was also taken by Mari, who uses red arrows. I found that shot really showed that nicely. (Mari absolutely adored Yuuri, but she never realized how much she was hurting him)
But sometimes my attempts at subtlety come out as pure nonsense, I don't blame anyone who doesn't get much from the trailer XD
The tomb is someone else!!! There's room to guess!! Play close attention to the order of things, and how some other shots were shown!! That's all I have to say
