His Was Gold Will Be Updated This Week

I'm in the middle of proofreading chapter 9 because yes, I have, miraculously, finished writing it after four years of hiatus. Expect an update in the upcoming days.

I know a lot of my readers have jumped ship a long time ago, but I hold nothing against them. For those still following this fic, please take this time to reorient yourself with the story because this chapter is more plot-heavy and politically dramatic than ever before.

I honestly don't know how to express how sorry I am for such a long, drawn-out wait for a single chapter. But I poured my heart, soul, blood, sweat, and tears into it. I hope it shows.

Not a week had passed without either writing, thinking of writing, or feeling guilty for not writing. So hopefully we see the end of this journey together soon, because it's about time, both for my dear readers and also for myself because this is a story I vowed to finish.

I will answer all my inbox once I update so I could link everyone to the chapter.
