Hello! <3
Can I ask which city is pictured in the header of your blog ? So beautiful !
hi! <3
the header photo is a row of buildings from anglet's city center! it's directly beside the cathédrale sainte-marie de bayonne :>
my favorite scents— amber, almond, and lotus
helloo i’m going to be studying/working in tangiers and tetouan in a few months, was wondering if you had any advice/recommendations !
congrats!! it's so so important to think of yourself first before the books. i'm sure you've heard of the saying that you cannot pour from an empty cup, so if i'd advise you about anything, i'd stress that 10x over. try taking time to understand what you feel and what your limits are so you can work alongside them to get the best out of your education and experiences! <3
i'm relatively new to the moroccan education system so i can't exactly pinpoint any specific things to keep in mind (assuming you're coming from another moroccan city) but the major thing for me was to communicate and interact with my classmates a lot. make new connections and don't be afraid to speak first because vital information tends to spread through people as opposed to school websites or platforms.
i'm a huge cafe fanatic and there are some really cute ones you can study at in tetouan! i'd recommend norte coffee gallery in the centre ville, native society in the wilaya neighborhood, and kaffeehaus in av. des far.
i wish you the very very best and hope you enjoy it here!
midnight reading - Marshall McLuhan, The Medium is the Massage
today i tried single-origin ethiopian pour over at the art gallery cafe and it was such a beautiful brew! it tasted sour on the tongue but the notes were so well-rounded and complex (and floral!). 10/10. might switch from moka for a while since i've been struggling with over-extracting my coffee.

the weather was mercifully 85° today so i mustered the courage to leave the house for the first time this week;
currently working on a two-year-old writing project and i’m trying to compile some research (channeling my inner r.f. kuang lol) think bees, ancient ethiopia, and military academies. hopefully it works out!! :)
i need to go!
