I'M SO SORRY I HAVEN'T BEEN AROUND I FORGOT MY RELATIVES WERE VISITING US OOPS }
".. Happy Easter.. Mother......."
--
"Thank you, my dearest. It's a lovely gift and I will treasure it always."
The Demon King silently entered the building, his green tunic fastened with the belt holding the pouch of items at his waist still marking him as Hylia's chosen hero, but spandex shorts gripped his legs and he wore no shoes, the only thing on his lower legs was an anklet much like the armband his sword wore. "Hello, Hylia." His purple eyes shifted around the room. He knew he could trust the goddess, he was wary of her, and without Ghirahim, he was uncertain of even himself. What he had become.
"Hero."
This time she was active, moving about in circles along a shimmering pond, a staff in her left hand making the water ripple and glitter as she paced. The same lights that had danced upon the skin of Ghirahim circled around the boy and ran entwined around his arms and legs, and one around his torso.
"What brings you to me this day? What troubles you?"
Every once in a great while, the water's surface would reflect different temples--the Water Temple, the Earth Temple, the Forest Temple, the Fire sanctuary--and many others unnamed.
☮
Taking both of the young princess' hands in her own, the Goddess Hylia leans forth and plants the gentlest of kisses upon her forehead, being wary of the crown placed upon it. There, that should suffice.
Who wants kisses? Drop me a symbol!
★: A peck on the cheek.
☮: A peck on your forehead.
✈: A barrage of kisses all over your face.
☢: Several licks on your ear.
♛: One kiss upon your hand.
✖: A hickey on your neck.
♥: A kiss on your lips.
☠: My fist to your kisser.
Spread some love people!
Send me "☑" if you think that I get my character correctly
He watched the light, before turning back to the goddess once more. "Why was I not sealed or destroyed? And I am searching. The Skychild is without a blade so... I thought... Maybe I can serve him... If I can locate the hero."
“If he will trust you, then you should seek him. Explain to him. And for the sake of maintaining a good relationship, apologize for the grievances you’ve put him through, apologize for putting everything he’s ever loved in jeopardy. Show him your heart wishes to serve the light, and that you no longer hold yourself with malice and ill-will. Perhaps then, he will accept you as his sword. Why were you not sealed or destroyed? The answer you seek is the change of heart within you.”
Lights now fall from the ceiling like stardust and circle around the two of them, though they serve no other purpose than looking…pretty.
“The Golden Three wanted you alive for a reason. You must search for the reason on your own.”
{ oh man do i owe greetings and or replies to anyone?
sans ghirahim i am answering his ask as i type this uvu;; }
Zelda's breath was hitched in her throat when the Goddess gently ran her thumb against her face. She found this gesture touching, and although it was not at all strange, it was slightly odd for her.
She assumed that this was what most motherly figures did to their youths, but since she had never felt the touches and love of a mother, she never really got the chance to feel such a gesture.
"I...I just wanted to greet you, my Lady," she replied when she found her voice again, straightening her composure, "This is the first time I have seen you in person, and..." She trailed off.
"And you find yourself without much to speak of? I thank you for your greeting, your highness."
Brushing invisible bits of hair out of the young woman's face, Hylia could only smile at the monarch. It wasn't often she was able to branch out to other timelines like this, but she did enjoy the time spent with each of her reincarnations.
"You need not speak of anything, if you so wish."
Ghirahim jumped, the masterless sword walking to her altar and knelt. "I have no idea what had transpired when my former master fought your chosen hero, but I woke up without anything keeping me bound."he winced as a pounding headache hit his head. "Even though I am a member of the race of greed, lust and wrath, I wish to serve the light." He felt pain etch up the side of his face under the curtain of hair. "I fear that my presence on this world is breaking."
“A masterless sword is the most dangerous weapon of all.”
Just as before when her soft voice echoed about the ivory walls of her temple, the Goddess spoke with the same tone. The only movement in the silent temple was that of the celestial lights, one of them spiraling down from the ceiling to wrap itself around one of Ghirahim’s thin arms.
“I know not why you were not sealed alongside your master, but if I was you, I would hasten your search for another one—lest you wish not to wander the mortal plane any longer. I can feel your body decaying the longer you stand in my Temple…and it saddens me. Once you fade from this world, there will be no one to retrieve you once more, Ghirahim.”

Her heart thumped in her chest, and Zelda felt a swell of pride when the Goddess said she was proud. Ever since she was a little girl, all she ever wanted was for someone to be proud of her, for everything she had done, and to hear this from her Goddess, it made Zelda want to jump and squeal, but she kept her emotions in control, though she let herself smile at the Goddess. “Thank you, Lady Hylia.” She said.
"You are welcome, blessed child of Nayru."
Her hands return to their normal stance and she smiles brightly, lovingly. It's always a pleasure to reward and praise where it's needed, and this child was definitely worthy of her praise.
ask-tp-zelda-sama replied to your post: The Princess froze on the spot, eyes exceptionally...
She keeps her bowed posture still, head down as she replied, “I am well, my Lady. How are you faring?” She was slightly nervous, if that wasn’t obvious enough. Meeting a highly respected Goddess wasn’t something that happened daily, after all.
"I am also well, thank you for your inquiry."
One of the Goddesses pale hands reaches forth to gently place a hand on the girl's cheek, her thumb moving horizontally in a sweeping motion across the soft flesh of Zelda's face. It wasn't strange to do this, was it? No, why would it be...It was only strange if one considered it to be such, and Hylia certainly didn't feel estranged.
"Might I help you with something, do you have any questions that rob you of slumber as night falls?"
{ i gained so many followers in the timespan of two days ahh---
thank you all so much for the follows!! jvj }
The Princess froze on the spot, eyes exceptionally wide as she dipped her torso down into a bow, a sign of respect for the ethereal Goddess in front of her, "Salutations, Lady Hylia."
“Salutations Zelda, princess of Hyrule. And how do you fare this fine evening?”
She too curtsies low to the princess, though it is true that she is a Goddess of sorts, she doesn’t feel the need to treat anyone else with disrespect. Besides, she had a soft spot for the princesses, and also the Hero’s, and also any sort of mortal, really.
Perhaps she was too soft, but it was not her place to judge herself.

Zelda’s form relaxed, as she stared up at the Goddess. This was the first time the Princess had ever laid eyes upon the Goddess herself, only ever seeing portraits in book and paintings. “This is the first time I have ever seen you with my own eyes, Lady Hylia.” She said. “It would be a lie to say I wasn’t nervous.”
"I can see the nervousness you project in your eyes, your highness. They are the most expressive part of any mortal body, and within yours, I see the nervousness and the strength of a ruler. You have done well Princess, and I am very proud of all you have done."
Such a sweet child, she mused. She could stand to smile more often, but it would be rude to voice such thoughts!
