“It’s not that I wasn’t being careful, it’s that someone pushed me,” Adara returned, understandably sour. She looked at her hair and pulled a twig out. “People are so rude,” she mumbled unhappily.

“Someone pushed you? Who would do such a thing! People are rude.” She said as she started to get frustrated at the person who pushed Adara.

“Well   ” Fighting back a sigh Jacen nodded and focused his energy on remaining perfectly still. “Thank you,” he replied, giving his clothing a quick once over. “It wasn’t my fault. I was training and ended up launched into a bush. I didn’t throw myself into it.”

She tried not to laugh. “Are you cut or are you hurting anywhere? Cause we should probably deal with that now. I can grab a first aid kit?”

“Will you just hold still.” Alana said getting frustrated at them for moving so much. “If you stay still the sooner I can get the thorns off you.” She said examining there clothing for any more thorns. “I think I got them all.” She stood up straight and put her hands on her hips as she let out a small sigh. “You know, you should try and be more careful.’

Alexia’s lips parted, a response urged to fly out of her mouth yet she knew her voice would crack halfway through– and what was worse really than her vulnerable state showing both through the tears threatening to spill and the sound of her voice cracking? In an attempt to compose herself, she stood taller– straighter if it was even possible and spoke lacking emotion. “You don’t get to tell how people to live with their struggles.”

“I was just repeating what you said. I’m sorry, I didn't mean to make you upset.” She wanted to hug Alexia but she was unsure of how she would react.

“I honestly have no idea what you’re talking about.”

“You don't?” She slightly tilted her head to one side.

“I never said that. I just said that feelings my mom weak. They made her strong when it came to me, but weak in all other areas. I don’t hide my feelings - I’m just careful with them.”

She nodded to Di, “I totally get it. I do that too sometimes. It really depends on the person for me. Get hurt is the last thing I want.”

“Oh, okay!” She said feeling a little embarrassed for mistaking the male for someone else. “I am truly sorry I disturbed you!” She said and gave him a sincere smile.

“It’s no problem, really. It happens to everyone.”

“Could I buy you coffee or something as an apology?”

“That is rather unfortunate, but I am curious, how do you not know if it was a dream or not?” She asked while slightly tilting her head to the side.

“Why does everyone keep asking me that?! Do you all not ever have dreams that you think are reality? And fairys, well, our dreams are very vivid. Almost prophetic.”

"I'm sorry, but I don't." She said giving her a small smile, "I think I've actually heard that before! I always found it fascinating!"

“——— oh for the love of the cosmos…” a soft mutter came out of his lips. jaxon looked clearly distressed as his gaze went from one wonderful treat to the next. it was probably a bad idea to wander into the food section of the fairground knowing how big of a sweet tooth he had. there were so many delicious-looking things that he had never tried before and he just felt so overwhelmed. to make matters worse, he was in his third cotton candy and he had eaten two candy apples beforehand. he needed to be stopped before he gave himself a sugar rush or a tummy ache. where were his friends when he needed to be stopped? he sighed, “this is how I die.”

Alana giggled as she saw him pretty much drool over every sweet that was there. “I personally recommend the cotton candy. It’s a classic and you can pretty much never go wrong with it.” She gave him a warm smile.

“I went into hiding because my worst fear came true. My algebra teacher accidentally saw me naked. Now, again, I couldn’t tell if it was a dream or not but still! HE SAW ME NAKED! Dream or not.” Victoria exclaimed rather embarrassed.

“That is rather unfortunate, but I am curious, how do you not know if it was a dream or not?” She asked while slightly tilting her head to the side.

Alana was pacing back and forth for about ten minutes now. She was debating on going up to the stranger and asking if she knew them from somewhere, but she couldn’t find the courage to go do it. “Ah, what the hell.” She said as she walked up the the stranger. She tapped them on the shoulder, “Excuse me, but do I know you from somewhere? You look very familiar and it’s been bothering me.” She gave them a smile.

“Um, I’m the princess of the Magic Kingdom? My parents also put me in a lot of movies and t.v. shows when I was younger? I had a brief singing career when I was fourteen? Any of those things sound familiar?”

“Yes, that’s right! I’m sorry I bothered you but I couldn’t figure it out. I’m Alana by way!” She held out her hand and smiled at her.

Matthieu turned at the unexpected voice, glancing down with a kind smile. He tried to search his mind for her face but came up empty handed and ultimately shook his head softly. “No, I don’t think so. You might have me confused with someone.”
