Pondering over what Starbucks might think about my Cafe De Castello espresso brewed via french press in a Starbucks iced coffee cup. Lol! Starbucks doesn't exist here on the island. Nor do any other chain/franchise establishments of any kind with the exception of Vons grocery store. Oh, and a Holiday Inn. Lol! (at Catalina Island)

Good day to you world. Happy Wednesday! Been up since 3am. Couldn't go back to sleep. So I threw together a homemade vegan coconut curry with brown lentils, tofu, jackfruit, fresh Thai basil with brown rice. Meal prepping to encourage myself to eat more. So I don't become a skinny mini. Lolrr! I considered even eating it for breakfast. It smells so good. 🤣👍🏻 (at Catalina Island)

Some misc pics from the weekend. Spent the weekend in Venice and Long Beach. Rested up and checked out Muscle Beach. Hadn't seen it prior. Was cool to see where the physical fitness boom began in 1934. With no AC, it was much cooler during the day outside on the beach with the ocean breeze then indoors. (at Venice, California)

Walking to St Mary's Medical Center. It's a beautiful morning in Long Beach, but it's going to be a warm one later. Supposed to be in the 90s today at the beach. I have therapy at 9, I see my GP at 10: 30 and then a neurological oncologist specialist at 11: 30. Fun filled morning. Back to the island this afternoon. So looking forward to being home.
