RWBY BEACON WEEK PROMPTS AND RULES

Thanks for all the interest so far, happy to announce that Beacon Week will be running 17-23rd August 2026.

Hopefully releasing prompts early will give everyone plenty of time to create (and to tell your friends!)

Have fun and hope to see your work in August!! Remember to use #rwbybeaconweek26 so we can see your work :)

Aug 17: Friendship | Study sessions

Aug 18: Secrets | Girls’ night out! (Or boys’ night in?)

Aug 19: Pressure | Sports day/school clubs

Aug 20: Trust | Beacon dance

Aug 21: Teamwork | Training missions

Aug 22: Fall | Redecorating (bunk beds!!)

Aug 23: Destiny | Vytal Festival Outtakes

RULES:

1. No AI/stealing other’s works! Works must be your own

2. All kinds of fanworks are accepted! Art, fic, analysis, physical crafts and anything else are all very welcome.

3. Please keep works related in some way to volumes 1-3. You’re very welcome to touch on future volumes by doing beacon flashbacks, etc., but this is a week for early rwby!

4. Use #rwbybeaconweek26 so that we can see/rb your work!

5. This blog will not rb rwde content of any kind. This week is to celebrate how much we all love the show, not get into discourse about it.

6. Keeping this family friendly, so this blog will only rb SFW posts. Will not rb any incest or minor/adult relationships.

BEACON WEEK NOW RUNNING 17-23 AUG

Unfortunately I’ve caught glandular fever (boo) which means I won’t be able to mod the account next week…. Soooo beacon week has been pushed back a bit! Apologies to anyone expecting it next week, but it hopefully gives anyone procrastinating some more time to finish the prompts!
