season 4 ideally being the imaginary skit in my head where theyre like guys we need to try to make our show more like those school girl slice of life series to appeal to a wider audience and be more inviting but they immediately fail at it bc when they try to do those cute weak head chops over a minor disagreement they just get a knife and start stabbing brother #2 in the head

Got into Uma Musume recently and I remembered that a certain little series also had a collab with the JRA... call that Uma Matsume lol

I actually got the idea a few weeks ago and sketched out an Osomatsu & Karamatsu uma first with the rest happening a few days later

Design wise I wanted them all to have casino girl aesthetics since the matsus all loooove gambling... plus it references their default suit & tie outfits from season 1. Their names changed as well since I wanted them all to have the "Pine" family name the same way the Meijiros do in Uma Musume. I also opted in giving them different heights and body types because I feel that if they were horse women, then some of them would lock the fuck in... and also I like the variety 🩷
