A group of people come down from a hike from the mountains and they, they dance. And a couple, they go on their first date and they throw a damn festival! And all of a sudden, the secret to happiness just dawned on me. It’s human connection. And I could conquer the world at CatCo, or I could twiddle my thumbs in the yurt and the loneliness would feel exactly the same, because I was missing the point. It’s not about what you do. It’s about who you love. And there are two people that you love trapped in an evil spaceship. Wanting to rescue them is not selfish. It’s everything.

I know that Iris is not dead but I don't get how hr could have pulled off switching with Iris in such little time. But hr was looking at the metal finger that was cut off of savitar. I'm really anxious I hope they didn't actually kill her, also that intimate scene between savitar and Iris is supposed to be in the final episode right? I really want to see a savitar/Iris interaction, I thought we'd get it this episode.

I think Savitar and HR both had the same thought: Iris can’t die. HR perhaps used that metal claw to somehow call Savitar once he was alone in the Lab, or else Savitar came on his own. Either way, HR took Iris’ place and Savitar was aware of it. That way he gets to have his cake and eat it too - he destroys Barry and ensures his creation while still getting to “keep” Iris. HR meanwhile, dies knowing he’s given Barry and the team another chance to save Iris and stop Savitar now.
