HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!! First day of the new decade, how we feelin’? I wish you all the best for 2020, may it be a kind, generous and all around wonderful year for all of you!! You deserve great things and I wish 2020 brings them to you and fulfils all your hopes and dreams!! The time has come again when I get all mushy inside and tell you all how much I appreciate and cherish your presence in my life. This past year has been tough, but you’re all bright spots on this hellsite that helped make it more bearable. So, thank you!! Thank you for sticking with me for another year!! ❤❤
Now, you might be wondering “hey, Nefeli, what’s up with that baklava? it has nothing to do with your tumblr theme’. Well, my friends, baklava is the dessert we traditionally serve on Christmas and New Years Eve where I’m from. My late grandma used to make it every year until the illness took completely over and she couldn’t remember the recipe anymore. So, now, first Christmas season without her, I wanted to kind of extend the tradition outside the family and treat you all to a virtual piece in honour of her memory, as she would have done with a real delicious piece if any of you happened to pass by our house these holy days.
To those who I feel closer to and have always been there for me: I feel very lucky to call you my friends. I’m sorry I haven’t talked to you much this year, but most days I felt like I didn’t even have the energy to hold a conversation. If we’ve even had one tiny interaction, know that I’m thankful for it and I consider you a friend. 💕💕
