I think if you’re going to criticize people for not knowing every aspect of the very nuanced and hard to navigate practices you follow, which are filled to the brim with misinformation and bigotry because of how many different takes and ideas are on it, without providing a master list of how to avoid harmful practices, you should shut up and stop talking.

If you won’t be a place to learn information, and rather condemn someone for a lack of knowledge, that needs careful navigation and other human accounts, when sources are extremely unreliable, instead of helping them. I think you’re a horrible person who is actively just going to make people feel like there’s nothing they can do to practice right.

Rather than condemn them, help them out. Let them know the signs.

I’ve been watching found footage horror films with my brother, and I was thinking I could review them with a “scared brother meter” and a “personal scared meter” with personal feelings around the plot and film.

And then cover their non-found footage sequels. As well, how easily it was to find with our Amazon + Netflix subscriptions so we could watch with subtitles.
