Akudama Drive Fans. This is Important.

This is a dialover blog who recently started on akudama drive.

We all know what happened in Episode 9 -

[Spoiler Alert if you haven’t got there yet]

and - ah, well, one of my favorite husbandos yanderes left the stage.

But we see them -

So. Is the ship true, or has Cutthroat been tricking swindler (and us) all along like he said himself?

This is the official twitter of Kazutaka Kodata, the producer of the series.

From what I collected, he’s basically saying that cutthroat sees not only his will to kill others, but also his love to others, expressed in a red circle around their heads, which we know Swindler has.

Okay. I’m guessing that the reason he murdered all these people in the past is because he sees that red halo around their head. However, Swindler’s own halo is due to his affections and love, which grows bigger and bigger by the series.

Which means what?

Which means. Cutthroat mistook his love for swindler as his wish to kill her.

No one has taught him love before. He never understood it.

The result? He tried to kill the person he loves but gets killed by her.

What do we know by this?

1. Cutthroat’s first intent when approaching swindler is affection and not the wish to kill.

2. His feelings are genuine. The ship is canon.

3. My favorite ship turns out to be canon but it’s much more heartbreaking as a BE (i seriously cried after this post).

4. WE KNOW THAT THE EXECUTION OF SUPER HIGH SCHOOL ASTRANAUT, KAZUTAKA KODATA, WILL START SOON.

How will it work?

・ I will continue to do my translations per usual, uploading them on this blog in script-format with the occasional CG thrown in between.

・With my permission, @maimaiotome will be using said scripts and putting her godly video editing skills to good use to provide you guys with playthrough videos of More, Blood. 

What will change?

・Neither of our social media will undergo big changes. I will still continue to post my usual content besides game translations and @maimaiotome still has her own personal project as well.

Which projects will we work on together?

・Right now our main objective will be More, Blood, since this is the ‘beginning’ of DL and does a much better job and giving the boys character development than HDB does. It also features ten characters rather than just the six S brothers.

・If everything goes well, our next big project will be Dark Fate.

How can you support us?

・Right now, our audiences are very much separated (Tumblr <– –> YouTube) and we wish to close the gap between them through this collaboration. Therefore, I highly encourage all of my followers to support @maimaiotome by following her blog AND subscribing to her YouTube channel, in the hope that her YouTube subscribers might consider checking out my Tumblr as well. uwu

People like this make me sick. This Spanish-speaking fan came to me requesting a translation of Kanato’s Para-selene CD. However, after I explained to them that (1) my requests are closed currently and (2) they would need to provide me with the audio, they quickly revealed that they actually already had a translation (in Spanish I assume since their English is poor) and only requested it because they know I put audio links with my translation.

Ken ga Kimi Localization Fan Project

Hello everyone!

I’m here to spread the word that Ken ga Kimi has been picked up and is being translated and localised by a small group of dedicated fans that I’m a part of! It’s definitely a game that deserves to be experienced by the English otome community, it’s seriously an amazing game and we hope we can get it to you by mid next year (and it has my favourite tsundere ever 👀).

As of this post we are almost done with the common route (a long ass 7-8 chapters!!). It’ll be available as a patch for the Steam port of Ken ga Kimi (for V) as soon as it’s finished, and completely free!
