Panorama from my backpacking trip last weekend. This was by far one of the best views I have woken up to in a long time.
Get busy living or get busy dying.

People often ask, “What is life all about?” My answer to that question is this picture. Life is about keeping things simple and enjoying those simple things. Fishing, mountains, and fresh air. What more could you ask for?
Time spent under the stars is time well spent.

Get out to Mother Nature and feel small again.

This clearly isn't the type of photo I usually post, but the message I'm trying to convey is what ultimately makes this photo. This past January I went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium with a few of my friends. The last time I had been to that aquarium was when I was only 9 years old. At the age of 9, everything either interests you or leaves you in a state of amazement. Whichever one it is, the main focus is the wonder we all had as children. As I've grown older, I've slowly realized that that childhood wonder quickly disappears. The lady in the photo brought me back to what I had almost forgotten. What I'm trying to convey through this picture is that we should try our best to revisit that childhood wonder every so often. Take some time to just be fascinated by the simplest things in this world. Whether it be watching fish swim in an aquarium, or watching birds in the mountains go about their daily lives, you cannot go wrong. It is too often that the only way we are entertained is through some sort of screen.

Take some time this summer to get away from the city and look up at the night sky. Hell, just look up in general. I feel that our eyes spend so much time glued to some sort of screen wherever we go. You'd be surprised what you're able to observe and see when you actually look up while walking.
