okay, I have to make a post about this because being in the Red Dead fandom as someone who loves deer is akin to torture. the deer in the high honor scenes is a White-tailed deer but I commonly see art depicting it as any other deer species. So here's some notes about White-tailed deer for those who want to be accurate.

I would go more in depth on the difference between White-tailed deer and other species but the main issue I've noticed is people just not realizing what species they are, not the little details. Of course this is all nitpicky information for people who are aiming to be as accurate as possible, you are always free to draw however you like if you find that more fun :)

This was so much fun to make. The little guy in this video is Fen, they died probably one of the worst deaths I’ve seen in this game so I had to draw it. She was starving to death, in sepsis, so exhausted she couldn’t stay awake but she couldn’t sleep cause she was stuck in a pit of lumalgie, and -100 mood. Luckily they found a mindwipe so in the end they weren’t suffering.
