Artist Inspiration 8 - Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazakii. This GIF is from the movie Howl’s Moving Castle, one of my favorite Miyazakii/ Ghibli films. The art is beautiful and the story lines range from cute and innocent (Kiki’s Delivery Service, Ponyo), to discussing real issues such as the clash between man and the environment (Princess Mononokie- my personal favorite). All these films are visually striking and totally unique and creative and never fail to inspire me.
