Ava took a swig of the drink, sighing in relief as she felt the liquid burn her throat. She loved the feeling it gave her…it seemed as if it burned away all of the bad things in her life for just that moment. Ava drank the rest of what was left in her glass. “Listen…I shouldn’t have walked away from you that night.” - Anxiously, she reached over to pour herself another glass. She looked down, only to find broken glass and a damp floor beneath hers and Albus’ feet. “Oh my god…” Her hand flew up to her mouth in shock. “I’ll buy you another bottle. I-I don’t know what has gotten into me.”
Albus had no idea what to say as she slowly took her drink from his hands, watching from the corner of his gaze as they both drank. A moment of silence carried before she finally spoke up, bringing up the only subject he was terrified to discuss. "Look, its uh.. it's fine, I mean, I understand why you di——"
"——Oh no!" He was cut off by the crash of the bottle, watching as the glass shattered beneath their feet. Albus took a deep breath and pulled his wand from his pocket. "Its fine.. Reparo!" He mumbled as he flicked his wand forward and watched the spell take form, mending the bottle back into his hand. The next spell his father had taught only him specifically, and taking a deep breath he thought of the words and watched as the bottle refilled itself. "There you go.. luckily I hadn't had much to drink yet."
