Continuing to learn how to draw Transformers. They’re very shaped, and I don’t really get the shapes yet—at least not just yet. But it’s quite fun

Meet the DJD's medic. My Transformers drawings are getting better and better every time. It’s cool because, to be honest, I used to be really rubbish at drawing them, lol. I’m still a long way from perfect, of course—I still simplify the designs quite a lot

TFA Shockwave

This is probably one of my favourite interpretations of him. Although, for some reason, he’s not very popular—I mean, why?? He’s hilarious, and I actually really like his design

Is that rendering?? It looks more like a pathetic attempt, but I gave it a shot. I like how it turned out, but I feel like something's not quite right

Anyway, Soundwave always looks good, even when drawn by my clumsy hands lol

I don’t like using the term ‘favourite’ character because, for me, limiting myself to just one or a few ‘favourite’ characters is a death sentence; I love almost all the characters to varying degrees, in my own special way, and for specific reasons (with occasional periods of hyperfixation on one or the other)

But if you ask me which is my favourite character, the closest answer would be Soundwave

They reminded me of Sherlock and Watson from the series, and I thought it was funny because. . ? It's kinda fitting?? Just see my vision (please)

Drawing his long ass legs made me feel like I was drawing some kind of paws or hooves

And he’s got that stupidly cute face, like Rewind or Tailgate (yk what I mean), which really tricks me. Makes you forget that he’s actually an eight-metre-tall, four-million-year-old Mnemosurgeon with years of experience in brainwashing. I love him

+ Rewind. I just had to draw him too, it would have been unfair on them (they make me siccckkk)

Whilst drawing the comic, I realised I’d need a ref for him. In the end, the design didn’t turn out quite as I’d originally drawn it, lol (I’ll just ignore that)
