The winding petals of roses follow the same mathematical formulas as the swirling stardust in galaxies. Galaxies orbit around the center of the universe as stars orbit around the center of galaxies, and planets orbit around the star at the center of solar systems, and so on, intricately intertwined ad infinitum. A helical system also structures DNA, spiraling continuously. Through an invisible architectural system, nature creates a limitless garden of multiplicity. Even our senses through which we perceive the world are determined by this moving geometry. In a sense, the entire cosmos is present in a rose.
