Oh! how the time flies.
slipping through my fingers while Iβm still trying to understand where everything went.
No matter how many times I return to Pride & Prejudice, it greets me with the same calm, the same yearning, the same hope. Some stories donβt fade β they comfort. This one always will.
beginners qur'an journalling guide β‘
start with the shorter chapters at the end of the qur'an and work your way back (for eg, starting with surah nas)
read the surah in arabic with the translation of your choice
use a good tafsir resource - for english, i use five volume commentary (surah nas is in volume 5, page 3476 - the column on the left shows all five volumes as PDFs)
five volume commentary is great bc it already gives you:
the subject matter of the chapter
how it connects to the chapter before it
the title, where it was revealed and why
then for each verse, it explains some important arabic words in the verse and their meaning
then the commentary/tafsir of the verse
qur'an journaling reflection questions:
what is Allah (SWT) trying to say in this surah?
is there a lesson here? what is it?
how is this surah relevant to me/my life?
how can I apply the message of this surah into my life?
what can I change in my heart, mind, worship and choices based on this surah?
Itβs winter, but the sky forgot how to snow here. Weβre still waiting. We miss the snow. The kind that makes winters feel real. π

ππ₯Iβve started reading "House of the Dragon" while waiting for the next season. The world of Westeros has me hooked! πβ¨
As I delve deeper into the story, I find myself enchanted by the rich history and the multifaceted characters that made the original series so iconic. Each chapter reveals new layers of intrigue and drama that keep me hooked. Is anyone else embarking on this literary adventure? Iβd love to hear your thoughts and discuss our favorite moments from the book!
