The design approached with fabric, form and function at the forefront. Made entirely from studio and mill scraps; and using creative pattern cutting minimised waste. The emphasis is on uniforms and the feeling it provides the wearer with a sense of belonging and a feeling of community, referencing military and youth sub-culture uniforms. The collection reflects on male mental health and a storey following a naive boy’s childhood freedom, fighting against the pressures that come with age; restrictions of adulthood can lead to failure and for some being unable to cope.
