A Whole New World !!

When you first came to twisted wonderland through the coffin you where sure that you were going to die. Not only being from a different world but also a mer it was pretty hard for you to get adjusted.
During the first few days of your new life at NRC you had been transported to this giant aquarium that seemed to be in a restaurant. That's when you met a well, to say the least, interesting trio.
The ever so benevolent Azul had managed to get transformation potions from the organization that helped mers adjust to land.
Whenever you asked Jade questions about this new world he would answer it, just with some some slightly untrue comments.
Floyd really could care less about you at first, he thought you where just the generic mer. But after learning that you didn't even belong in this world his interest suddenly peaked.
Walking was definitely something that took you a long time to figure out, but with some help from Floyd it became slightly easier. Once you got better at walking the running portion had started. But this mostly involved getting chased by Floyd so that you got used to running. While it probably wasn't the best way to learn it was definitely working.
Hours where spent In the library with Azul. He taught you important unspoken rules and manners that where prevalent on land. Occasionally mention how absurd some of the customs where.
Despite the fact that learning about mushrooms and other plant life wasn't going to useful in most situations, Jade said it was.
He had also observed how you interacted with the other humans, most conversations were just you asking questions about the land.

"Deuce!! Is it true that there are things that look like real animals but actually aren't?"
"Uhm.. yeah, I guess you could say that?"
"Okay okay!! Does that also mean they really do have fluffy insides?"
"Oh! That's what you meant... I thought you where talking about taxidermy.."

You got to see the Tweels merforms pretty often, mostly just for leisurely swimming or playing. It took a while but after the events of Azul's overblot you actually got to see his merforms, even if it was just for a short amount of time.
There where plenty of things that the trio had taught you like how to properly use utensils or how shoes and clothing works. The list really could go on and on. But everything according to Azul, comes with a price.
Because of this a majority of your free time was spent working at the monstro lounge. It definitely wasn't the worst considering how you got to learn how to cook food on land.
Octavinelle became a safe space for you at your time at NRC. (It's probably not actually a very safe place but whatever)
The dorm reminded you of your original home, the atmosphere definitely did look similar to areas around where you lived.
Even though the the three of them weren't exactly like the mers back at home it was definitely nice to have some help from them.
