His life wasn’t perfect; he still had to see his therapist once a month, still had to adjust his meds when the dreams started to pick back up, still felt like he dissociated through the whole month of November, but it was good. Bradley was happy, he’d learnt to live with the regret of leaving his life behind, of leaving Jake behind. or, Bradley leaves after the mission, and five years later, Jake tracks him down.
