Honestly, I haven't specifically assigned a gender to each character, but if you consider Ryoma to be gay, you can do so; I don't really see the problem :)

Character Introduction Part I

I thought about splitting your question into four parts, one for each character. And what better way to start than with the one who started the whole AU, Haley :D

A little about her:

●Haley was practically dragged into the Digital World by mistake, being the one who first heard Shoutmon's melody. She was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

●Upon falling into the Digital World, she ended up as Shoutmon's partner, who immediately convinced her to help him become the King.

●Her Xros Loader is gold, since in this AU, all Xros Loaders are a reflection of the Crests; Haley essentially represents the Crest of Miracles.

I've been watching Beatbreak with @xyugi-yumix and wow, what a perfect anime. If I was emotionally dependent on Gumdramon and Gammamon before, now I'm emotionally dependent on Gekkomon, I love him.
