Unthemed/Personal Blog Call me Nova... 20/f/ 🇺🇸 I am a friend to many, and tend to avoid holding or condoning any prejudice or discrimination when it comes to one's personal beliefs or choices. However, I am not entirely beyond fault... I am not immune to passing at least some form of personal judgement, but understand that only lasting opinion I am ever willing to weigh into account is the one shaped solely from my own impression of an individual's character. The only things that I hold as value in these instances, are coincidentally the traits and habits to which I would also consider an individual personally accountable: their respect towards, the consideration of, any actions involving/affecting, and/or their treatment given (especially when it comes to others). I am both the very proud Wife to the Love of my Life, and Mother to two beautiful children. My little family means the world to me. They give me purpose, and make my heart complete. I do not know what I would do without my loving husband, wonderful stepson, or gorgeous daughter by my side. Questions of all kinds are welcomed whenever one may happen to occur. My personal philosophy, over both the outlook of myself and life in general is simple : We are all soldiers, inevitably. Everyone is fighting a daily battle in mankind's endless war against the sexually transmitted disease we call life... Would you rather wage your efforts to win and earn your right and title as a Warrior OR Be forgotten to History by having only weakly escaped as a survivor? My family and I have all had our share of trials, tribulations, and obstacles to face. We have the battle scars for each one...but, we wear them all with pride. Our whole lives we have fought...but we will keep fighting, and we will continue on with everything we are and all that we hold dear, right down until our last dying breaths. We do not view failure as a potential outcome, We do not consider merely surviving as a viable option. We fight not because it is easy, but so that when our journey ends we can be proud of our efforts. We fight so that as we leave this life, no being may contest our ability to rightfully claim our place, or our earnings to hold the title of "Warrior."
It’s tough to get out of bed; I know that myself. You can lie there for an hour and a half without thinking anything, just worrying about what the day holds and knowing that you won’t be able to deal with it.
Can we talk about how in District 11 after Rue’s death, the entire district rioted. They burned and broke things. Everybody watching the movie loved it because they saw the unjust government for what it was. A little black girl died. Yet when a black boy dies in real life and people start riots over their unjust government, they’re ridiculed and labelled “dangerous”.
People who truly love us can be divided into two categories: those who understand us, and those who forgive us our worst sins. Rarely do you find someone capable of both.
