season 2 should’ve definitely gotten more than 10 episodes. There’s so much they could’ve done. I really, really hope to see an episode with Alexa in therapy next season

I feel like s2 stepped it up in terms of how physically draining the cancer and treatment was on Alexa. Not that season 1 didn’t, but that was post-treatment while the flashbacks showed the toll it took on her; staring blankly at the wall, not eating. And I think that was great because while it is a kid’s show that is meant to be happy, it also didn’t sugarcoat the stuff Alexa went through.

i loved those flashbacks. They made me cry. And then when she started talking about how some days, she can’t escape her illness even in the safety of her own room... powerful. Really powerful.

BITCH i just started alexa and katie season 2 and OMFG I’m crying this show is so adorable and pure. when lucas went and hugged the doctor because the doctor said his sister was okay at her checkup and then he said he wasn’t worried either omfg THAT WAS SO CUTE AND HE IS SO FUCKING HOT AND I’M CRYING I LOVE A CARING BIG BROTHER TROPE. and then katie is literally the best friend ever and she is hilarious man i fucking love this show idec that it’s for a younger audience it is so pure and heartwarming and hilarious and uplifting ugh i am emotional and its only the first episode of the new season damn it. i literally can’t stop loling idk what that says about me but holy shit this show is so great everyone is hilarious but damn it katie is the best
