I've been playing in my save file (YOU CAN DOWNLOAD IT NOW), and finding things I want to change for my own gameplay. Let me know in the replies what you think!

make all main lots single-storey

put seniors in a single household

keep unmarried young adults with their parents

potentially have all but EA townies in the bin, rather than in homes

I play rotationally, with aging off for everyone except the currently active household, and I change households every Sunday 8am. With 20 playable households in my save file, it's been a lot of gameplay to even get through one rotation. It'll be much easier with all the seniors in one household, gradually dying off, but it's still a lot of townies.

Would you rather that the townies were in the game but not "in world"? Let me know how you play!

IT'S HERE! THE SAVE FILE IS HERE!

This version is ONLY base game. ONLY BASE GAME. You don't need any DLC, any CC, any mods, just the game.

I have left openings in houses for things like laundry rooms, and many lots could easily be converted to functional retail or restaurants, but for right now it is strictly base game, so everyone should be able to play in it!

How to install:

Make a backup of your Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Saves folder.

Unzip this package to Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Saves. It is a SAVE, and NOT a mod.

If it says you already have a file of that name, change the slot number. My save is numbered 00998877; you can change it to any eight-digit number you like.

If you don't need this text file, go ahead and delete it.

Open your game. My save file is named "AlexandraSave 22-07-24," (year-month-day of last edit) and the default family is the Spencer-Kim-Lewis. It's Wednesday at 1am. (In the future I want to try to set the game time to Sunday 8am, but I don't know how to do that.)

Most importantly, once you've opened the game to play, "Save As" a new save so you can start from scratch in the game any time you like without having to download this again.

Blake aged up! He'll move out to live with his girlfriend, Letitia Landgraab, as soon as she ages up.

(Also at his party, his sister got Jamey Hatch-Koffi to agree to be her boyfriend... but not without pissing off two other girls who kept coming up to slap him in the meantime. I didn't get screenshots of that, sadly. It was delightful to see autonomous sim reactions! #thesims4couldnever). Also hilarious how Jamey is looking really confused, like he has no fucking clue what he's getting into with Bailey....

How do I make a nice screenshot of the whole family the way you all do?! This was made in MS Paint...

Billy Beech Jr: Fussy

Bill & Bob have a close, loving relationship and are very proud of their three adopted kids. Beth is admittedly going through a bit of a rebellious phase and things with Bill are a little rough, but they trust they'll get through it. Bex is pretty sure they're nonbinary, and Dads are happy to support them however they need. Billy Jr is, however, the single most spoiled toddler in Newcrest. His entire room is his favorite pink, and his entire family will drop everything to tend to his needs.
