My name's Alexei Levski. I'm a sixth year student, a Hufflepuff, though it's my first year at Hogwarts. You may have heard of me before, I'm Hungarian, though I played on the Bulgarian National Quidditch Team, winning the 1994 World Cup along with Viktor Krum.

Hmm… Muggle London just seems interesting but that’s probably because I’m in the wizarding part at least once a year. I don’t know if their shops and amusements are any different from the muggle cities where you’re from. Well their version of the Knight Bus is weird to be on. Really slow and impractical. -he pauses- Actually everything I’ve done there has been pretty childish family-holiday type stuff. I’ve heard there’s a decent nightlife if you’re the type of person that would like to freak out drunk muggles with magic. -he shrugs- Not really my thing buts it seems fine so long as no one gets hurt.

[Alexei clucks his tongue.] Using magic around muggles. [Alexei rolls his eyes.] There are better ways to pass the time and holidays, let alone have fun, than to break ministry law. [He sighs. Sometimes he feels like to only ardent ministry supporter.]

Oh London’s great. When I was a kid my dad and I even went on that crazy muggle contraption that’s like this giant wheel that rotates you up to see half of the city. It was ridiculous. Or are you just planning to visit Wizard London?

[He shrugs.] I don't really know- is there much else in Muggle London besides this death-wheel? Money isn't really a problem, but is there anything muggle-interesting to do?

Reflections

I never really notice how much bigger London is than Budapest until these holiday seasons come around. I'll have to visit when School lets out.

Huh

Hogwarts seems to have a high abundance of accidents, yet is *still* Britain's only choice in Magical education.

What does Amortentia smell like to you?

A layer of fresh snow on a winter day. I suppose that comes from my time at Durmstrang. Also like the perfume that Aliz wears on those summer days back in Hungary- n-not that it's because she was wearing it or anything, it was just- uhm, the apple scent of the perfume was nice...

In all seriousness… it’s been a while since we talked… [Aliz fiddles with the edge of her dress, feeling nervous] How is Hogwarts doing you? Do you like it here?

Oh, it goes well. I still blame the unneeded House system from keeping us so far apart. [He offers a small smile.]

[He shrugs, thinking about it.] Maybe if was how I grew up. Or maybe it was seeing a war at such a young age. It changes a person.

-shrugs- Some people are going to find a way to feel normal in any way they see fit. After everything, you can’t blame them. -shrugs again- It happened, it’s best to just move on from it instead of dwelling and being moody about it. It’s not going to change the past.

People are to be held accountable for what they do. It doesn't matter who they really are, the good must be taken with the bad.

[Savvy purses her lips thoughtfully.] Not as frilly as everyone assumes, but less down and dirty than this place. If that makes sense.

We learn how to do important things in the world, not run around with a sword in one hand and a wand in the other killing things willy-nilly. Some people are meant to be warriors, some politicians. The latter — at least the decent ones, in my opinion — are trained at Beauxbatons.

[Alexei shrugs.] Hogwarts trains its own fair share of politicians. Dumbledore was Supreme Mugwump for an incredibly long time.

{Savvy nods.} A lot of people from Durmstrang seem to have been professional at one point or another — I only play for the House.

But I’ve always been fascinated by Durmstrang — I’m sure it’s very different from here, from what I’ve heard. {Savvy secretly thinks she would like it better there. After all, it was fairly empty most of the year due to Quidditch, and no where near as old as Hogwarts. Even with the Dark spells they taught … it would be a dream come true for her.}

[Alexei clears his throat, a little uncomfortable on the subject of Durmstrang.]

Well, what's Beauxbattons's like?

No. People around here are good at sneaking around. It’s not big deal, a spell that tame is probably all just for fun. It’s not as if she actually got hurt or anything, she just had to stay in one place.

Ugh. It makes no difference- it's incredibly juvenile.
