The worst part of Pixal being so absent in dr is that the only Person that cares about her is literally Zane?? If he joined in for example s2 then nobody would've talked about Pixal. It's like she's not part of the family anymore and this is the worst thing about all of this imo. They do not care about Pixal and It breaks my heart.
Because of all this her character only stays alive due to Zane which is horrible imo.
If it wasn't for him the writers wouldn't have brought her back at all.
Like she wasn't even brought back for the sake of existing for herself? It was only for Zane.
The more screentime she gets the more she's done dirty.
I miss SecurityGem so I wrote a fic about them to cope with the fact that I couldn't get another idea I had for them into words so yeah maybe I can write that one too at some point

Recently I made a decision to begin a Crystalized rewrite. There are a lot of things in Crystalized that I feel are mischaracterizations or lore mix-ups, which I'm willing to excuse a little since they had to follow the restrictions put upon them (like the "emulate Avengers: Endgame" one).
HOWEVER. I have no such regulations! So, I'm doing a full rewrite of the season. Plot points will be shifted, some will be eliminated completely, and some entirely new points will be added.
Also, it's written in prose because drawing is hard :')
If you're interested, please leave a comment. I have most of the changes listed below the cut, and if you don't see something you want added/removed, please let me know in the comments or reblogs! Keep in mind this is a PERSONAL project, and my target audience is me and then people who have similar opinions to me, and then maybe open-minded people willing to give this a shot. If you want something changed that I really want to keep, it won't be changed.
However, if you really want something changed, please do try and convince me! If you are willing to offer an argument behind your change, I'll give it some thought.
(This post is going to be edited a lot as I think of new changes or people suggest/convince me of changes)
Things I'm removing:
Nya does not lose her powers. I believe I can do something interesting by keeping her as the ocean. I do have to mess around with the rules a little, though. I also don't like how her re-becoming Samurai X pushed Pixal out of her role, so that's why I want her to keep her powers.
Sorry Kailor shippers, but Kailor is one-sided. To me, Skylor is a lesbian. If you disagree with this headcanon, that's completely fine, but don't expect me to make Kailor canon in this rewrite.
Ships are not super important to me personally; I like writing them in, but they're not going to be as prevalent as in Crystalized. For example, that one episode where Zane dies (again) will most likely be removed completely.
I don't like the Council of the Crystal King. I understand they had to work it in the emulate Endgame, but I feel the Crystal King should be a brand-new antagonist.
I don't like that they reused the Overlord (AGAIN) so I am kicking him out.
I personally feel that the New Ninja are a little too whimsical for Crystalized, and want to do my best to make the tone similar to the Oni Trilogy (ish). (This is a flexible one! If you think the New Ninja should be included, please let me know and we can talk about it :) )
The Ninja's time in prison is going to be a LOT shorter.
Sally is very silly /pos, but she will most likely be removed as I feel Zane's mini-"arc" with her was a little extra.
As Gazpacho1's frankly amazing Ninjago deep dive video pointed out, Wu is NOT a law-abider. In my rewrite, he's against Aspheera, fine with breaking the law.
Things I'm adding:
Lava is canon, but will not be official until the very end. (Sorry Kailor shippers but I'm a Lava/Moltenshipper)
Nya is going to be merged with the ocean for the majority of the season. (I have ideas for this trust)
The Crystal King and their Army of Bad Guys will most likely be original creations. (I'm still workshopping this, since character creation is hard)
Lloyd will have his oni form for more than three seconds.
HAPPY PRIDE MONTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT IS STILL PRIDE MONTH FOR LIKE ANOTHER 5 MINUTES SO I HAVE MADE IT IN TIME . everyone wish my children a very happy pride month immediately
