Headcanon that Alexis loves naming group chats (100% taken from the fact that I too love naming my group chats). Alexis also loves emoji, so the chat names are usually a reference to something shared or a pun with an emoji (she’ll let other people name the chats of course, but sometimes nobody else cares). Alexis names her chats partially to be cute but also because she doesn’t like seeing “6 people” at the top of her phone. Alexis doesn’t name every single group chat she has, just the important ones, like with her parents, with Twyla and Stevie and David and Patrick, or the giant group text she has with almost everyone from schitts creek. Not to throw my own hc onto you, but if you have any names for said chats, please share!

um so i 10000000% love this?? and yes hunny p, alexis loves emoji and a good group chat name, and no one cares as much as she does.

unfortunately for everyone, i didn't get a ton of sleep last night so i'm fading a bit and thus the only creative group name coming to me is "the schitters 💩" for the big SC group chat, lol. but then there's also probably "boss babes 👩🏼👩🏻👩🏻‍🦰" for her chat with stevie and twy (yes, i am team 'twyla's hair is auburn and auburn is a type of ginger,' no i will not be taking questions), "SIBLINGS 👩‍👦‍👦" for her chat with david & patrick, and i'm totally blanking on one with the Roses. my ask box is open for anyone who comes up with names that are, inevitably, better than mine!!
