Ultimately the Simban Restoration reversed many of his predecessor's more radical policies and reinstated minority rule.

Tragically, the efforts the new regime undertook to distance it from the failures of the old all were all but a death knell for race relations in the Pride Rock autonomous administrative region. Reactionary counter-social justice programs were the quickest way to legitimize the Simba administration and so became the new norm. Any movement toward greater social equality was met with accusations of Scarism; a political death sentence.

In addition, post-Scar Administration displacement of hyenas to less desirable lands lead to a disproportionate demographic concentration in the Elephant Graveyard District. Economic disadvantages, systemic poverty and a dearth of exploitable resources has only reinforced harmful stereotypes of laziness and overconsumption in the hyena diaspora.

Due to providence disputes and ill-defined, oft-contested borders originating with the Mufasaian "Everything The Light Touches" doctrine, conditions in the neglected district seem unlikely to improve.

A sad end to a promising administration and a dark chapter of Savannah history.
